Re: I have a read!

I dont like this call very much. Just because you saw this guy play K4 and call you down with bottom pair, doesnt mean hes going to make this play with any two cards. I mean he is check raising you...

Re: Flopping nut straight with a flush draw on the board

I also think there shouldve been a 3rd option here, if i was in your situation i wouldve made it something like 19-22 then be able to push the turn unless a scare card comes in which case youd be...

Re: Butchered TT hand

I agree with raising the flop to somewhere around 20, but you definately have to fold this river since the only thing you beat is a stone cold bluff.

Re: As I have a healthy stack in front of me.....

I dont think you should be playing any different type of poker than you normaly would be playing just because of your stack size. Just play the same way you always do. Cash games are not the same as...

Even though everyone is saying 3-1 on my call it was actually almost 4-1. I had no reads so i had to call.
He had AQ, river was no help and my hand was good.

Re: What would you do?

Tables like this are exactly what you want in a game (an idiot literally throwing away money ), there is no reason whatsoever to leave this game and you should stay until the maniac leaves.

Re: J9s turn

I initially thought taking a free card would be my route as well but after reading toddster's post i agree that a push seems like the best play here.

Re: Tough turn decision??

I think i wouldve raised UTG+1's bet to 120 in order to try to force the button out of the hand so you have position for the turn/river. In your line of play i think i would attempt a weak lead on...

Re: Comments/help on these Aces

I agree that you definately have to raise much more than 30$ preflop, probably from 50-60 in this situation. Postflop when he calls ur 150 cold it is clear that he has 1 of the 3 hands mentioned...
