Re: Stud vs Hold Em (low content)

I believe that David Sklansky has stated on these forums that 7-Card-Stud is the most difficult form of poker to master.

Re: In anticipation of the end of mining after Party Beta takes effect

[ QUOTE ]
How does this company stay in business? Morons!

[/ QUOTE ]

Seriously? PokerRoom doesn't save observed hand histories either, and they are doing pretty well.

Re: In anticipation of the end of mining after Party Beta takes effect

[ QUOTE ]
This is rediculous. PT software, and mining, in the hands of good players, confer a rediculous advantage.

Good players confer unto themselves a large portion of the...

Re: Eurobet hand histories

Check the PT help files for PokerRoom HH files. On EB, they are written to a .db file called YourNameTexasReal, and you have to point PT in that direction.

Re: Ethics of Datamining/Banned Software use

Only three minutes wasted replying and then wiping out my post. I'm getting better at this.

What's the over/under for worthless threads in the zoo for next year?

Re: POKER SOURCE ONLINE TREATS NEW CUSTOMERS POORLY

Once again, I've typed a long and detailed response, only to renig on posting it at the last second. Another waste of ten minutes on an idiot that hasn't earned my input.

Re: A couple PT questions concerning database management

For the first question: File -> Manage Database Names.

For the second: As far as I know, once the hands are in the database, they are stuck there. You can extract them, though by going to...

Re: Damn Britts.....

Do a search. Through bet365 you have to do a merchant transfer. A search should provide their merchantID, which I don't remember. Quickest withdrawal I've ever received.

Re: Writing down exposed cards

Wouldn't a tall laminated card with all the cards printed on it work pretty well? I'm thinking along the lines of a roll of paper towels and a dry-erase marker.

It probably wouldn't take too long...

Re: Beginner Stud Hi Lo hand

My first strategy post. Ex Salis Granos.

With this ante, I'd limp in with the hidden middle pair and 2-flush. Unfortunately, you are probably only drawing at half the pot, but considering the...

Re: Calculating flush odds MY WAY.

I asked basically the same question some time back in the probability forum. A search may bring it up. The math that I learned that week on this subject moved my game up a notch. Mabye two.

Standard Ante rates, questions.

I'm a newbie to 7CS. Heck, I've only played three hands at a real money table because I wasn't exactly sure how the betting structure worked.

Another post for micro-limit 7CS/8 listed the ante as...

Re: Beginner Stud Hi Lo hand

It might be just me, but half-a-small-bet for an ante seems pretty big. Is a game like this beatable when you are paying 25BB/100 to play?

On a related note, I have a question, but I'll make a...

I agree that Adams book is quite easier to read than 7CSFAP and I as well buck the trend on this forum and recommend it for the small stakes stud players. I have started 7CSFAP several...

7SFAP is too advanced for me.

I just got 7SFAP and I've been muddling through it. It should be mentioned that I've never played a hand of 7stud other than a few play-money hands to see what it was like, and in an effort to...

Re: What information is most important from Pokertracker?

I've found that PT is most useful when studying individual hands your opponents play - in bulk.

VPIP becomes statistically valid after a relatively few number of hands. Since it's also an...
