Re: floped a set...time to get paid

i don't like check calling with 2 players behind you, i would either have bet out $40 or $45, or check with the intention of raising to at least $100. I like a PSB or all in on the turn.

Re: Double gutter gets there, I think villain really has a hand

[ QUOTE ]
If I were in position, I might have raised the flop. OOP, however, I think it's just way too likely that I'd get 3-bet all-in.

Calling is a good play there, but I like...

Re: Double gutter gets there, I think villain really has a hand

I might bet the full pot amount on the river, hoping to get raised by the monster, but if he is a loose passive player with a monster, I think you might be better off check-raising all in, since a...

Re: Double gutter gets there, I think villain really has a hand

haven't read any of the posts, but I think if are going to lead the flop, the bet should have been 3$, and if you are going to check-raise, I think a big bet would be a better line to take. As...

Re: I suck at poker - 77 in the BB

yeah i would bet 2 or more on the flop, because when you go from betting to calling it is hard to know where you are at in the hand, especially against a player in LP that limped in. The only good...

Re: Semi-Bluffing in NL

in these .25/.50 games and in that area, I normally try to stay tight on semi-bluffs. It is also good to show down a couple semi-bluffs after people fold, because I feel that it adds a little more...

"You tellin' me you Jesus Christ can't hit a curveball?"

question about HU play, Matusow vs. Friedman on FTP

i was watching this heads up match between Mike Matusow and agent007 on Full Tilt Poker last night, who Matusow was referring to as Prahlad, so I can assume it was him. They were sitting on a 25/50...
