5/10 live turn decision, maybe boring

live 5/10 NLH; we were short-handed for an hour and I was lagging it up big-time, winning almost half the pots (most players in this game only know how to play full); we've been full for half an hour...

tricky multiway flop decision (live 5/10 NL)

The players:

SB (3k) is a very tough, loose-aggressive player. He's a good hand-reader and quite tricky.

MP (1.5k) is a bad LAG. He got stacked on a bad-beat about 5 hands earlier, so I...

Re: flopped the nuts with deep money (5/10 NL)

in general I agree, but I think there are a few factors here that making calling okay:

1) villain has demonstrated the ability to limp-reraise bluff
2) even against AA/KK hero probably has odds...

flopped the nuts with deep money (5/10 NL)

5/10 NL home game, 8-handed... game is generally loose-aggressive

UTG limps and villain limps UTG+1; 2 more limpers to hero who makes it 100 to go out of the SB with QQ; folded to villain who limp...

AK in three-handed 5/10 NL (live)

flop decision, 5/10 NL

5 limpers and SB completes, which is standard for this game, and I rap in the BB with 97 of spades

the flop comes Ts6s5x; I lead 50, a tight-aggressive (TAG) min-raises to 100, a loose canon (LC)...

Re: Set vs. flush draw

hmm, where to begin...

he doesn't need to his his gutshot on the river, he already has you beat

you're 3.4:1 to fill/quad, not 4.3:1

but that's the point, you don't have x-ray vision......

Re: Set vs. flush draw

I think the turn laydown is probably a mistake, although not a big one

it's 600 to you with 1675 in the pot, so you need to win 26.4% of the time for a call to be correct; here's your odds against...

are \"no DP\" tables tougher or softer than the others?

max-pot size?
