99 in BB with a 2X raise in front
Is calling a 2X raise w/99 in the BB (mult callers) the right play, or should I have re-raised, and if so, how much?

Re: Raised PF, AA in LP, 3rd hand
Ok, what would be a good raise here, just 3 or 4x the BB. I get a little confused when there is a raise and a CC.
Thanks for the reply.

too much, too soon?
I am still a newbie at NL play, and I think I overplayed this hand PF with the limp/all-in.
The table was loose in its raising standards and there was a lot of calling with bottom and mid pairs...

Re: 55 late in 25+2 from BB
I am new to tournament play, so this is not sage advice. If you thought he was too aggressive and playing any paint, I might have gone all-in PF here and taken my chances.
It's either all-in or...

Step tournaments
I tried searching the forums but did not come up with the answer.
Briefly, how does a step tournanment work? I tried the FAQ at Party but could not find an explanation.

Did I Miss a Value or Info Bet on the turn?
I was new to the table, but when the button raised I figured he was attempting to steal the blinds. Did I miss a bet on the turn, which resulted in my weak check on the river. Other criticisms...

Re: Decision between cold-call and re-raise
I don't like the re-raise because you have a drawing hand only. You're dominated by AK, KK, QQ and AA. You're only shot it would seem is to draw out, and I'm not even sure you should be doing that...
