Re: slightly common situation (from a debate)

all depends on the opponent. sometimes raise sometimes fold sometimes call. I think this is how everyone plays this.

Re: A6s w00t

Taking a second look, I think your flop play is correct and I think you should probably fold the turn. Given that you didn't fold the turn, you definately should be folding the river every time.

Re: 20/40 - Mid pair on A high flop

I almost always lead in this type situation. I think you will make more in the long run, steal more, and save more when you are behind.

Re: 10/20 situation, call down, raise flop, fold?

If you are going to play J10, raise it. If you miss the flop and are in position you get to see the turn for free. There are very few times when open limping in a SH game is going to be a good move.

Re: DreamClown about to play Negreanu more

This HU match is very up and down. So far this has been more like they are having sex than playing poker.

Re: Preflop fold

This should be an easy PF fold. Just because you are getting good odds on your money does not mean you are likely to be totally dominated and need a miracle flop to be able to continue or win.

As...

Re: 10/20 A high against LAG

I C/R the flop and reevaluate after I see how villain reacts.

Re: simple question vs. unknowns

You don't give yourself enough outs here. You have at least your 5 outs to 2pair/set + BD outs to a broadway straight and a flush draw. I see no reason not to peel the turn knowing that if you hit...

Re: simple question vs. unknowns

I don't 3-bet. I peel the turn and fold UI(meaning I dont pick up a draw or 2P on the turn).

Re: Do you ever..

I do this semi-frequently. Typically if I flop a set or two pair and I know the PFR will raise me on the flop I will donk. I will then c/r the turn. It is all very opponent specific, however. There...

Re: Hand...

Off-topic, but is this a standard PF call for you? I cannot think of any opponent I'm going to play 29, suited or not, against.

I raise PF. I never open-limp in SH.

Re: annoying hand

easy fold still. you are screwed in this hand, just give up. since you cannot accurately read your opponent, ever being able to put them on two pair makes that possibility only cost you a lot of...

Re: PP 15/30

When I played there I found it pretty soft as well, However I hate that site now and I'm sure its rigged since it is the only site I've ever consistently lost money at!!!!

PP 15/30

Any ideas why this game is by far better than PP 10/20? I don't think letting everyone at 2+2 know this is letting the cat out of the bag, but the 15/30 games are way juicer than your typical 10/20,...

Re: river sexy after turn check/check HU

If you don't have a strong read I think a river bet is key, but if you know your villain is more than 50% likely to bet and you can c/r, I think this is a superior play.

Re: Stupid spot...

I most certainly think you are always beaten here after you are c/r on the turn. This is a standard fold for me except against a total maniac.

Isolating with A5s

15/30 6-handed:
UTG+1 is a strange fish. Sometimes raising Q10o UTG sometimes limping 10 hands in a row.

UTG fold, UTG+1 limps, CO has A5 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif, you?
