Re: WEEK 4 GB/CAR BAILOUT SELECTION - POST HERE.

Didn't get rocked. Solid return (80% 4-1-0) on my picks, however no action on this game. I have talked to at least 15 people about GB/Car and I only got 1 vote so far for GB. I don't know if it...

Bad call?

Villian in the hand had been playing lots of hands, maybe 6 of last 10. He had lost about 1/2 his stack in the same 10 or so hands. With the smoothcall and then flop push, I didn't put him on a...

Re: Did I deserve to be berated for this play?

Flopping a 5 w/no K was the perfect play in this situation. Of course, a 5 w/K flop would have added some drama, and also would have allowed you to perform the fantastic rivered quads move.
All in...

Re: fishy play?

I wouldn't have called the RR from button with KJ, especially after BB cold-called.

Re: Weak? Left me feeling icky

Villain does not want the turn bet called. If he had a hand that beat you, I believe he would have bet less or attempted to checkraise you.

Re: KKK vs. three flush - size of flop bet ok?

Re: urgently need card counting help

Very good point.

Also, I tend to avoid blackjack if I can't find a single or 2 deck game.

That was hilarious. But seriously, I was kind of disappointed in Sexton's showing. Has anyone read Shuffle up and Deal? If so, is it worth reading?

Re: Of course I call this all in right?

If my goal is to double-up the short stack, then yes, I auto-call.

Otherwise, I wait until I have a reasonable hand to call with.

I think in this spot, it's a pretty...

Re: Consistently beat limit poker? Time to quit online? Post sshe wors

From a logic standpoint:

Poker=Gambling
Gambling=Fun
Therefore Poker must = Fun

If you are having fun playing poker, consider losing money...
