Re: A6s turns two pair on monotone board, near the bubble

If he had an ace would he raise in the sb? How has been playing from that position?

I think the range of hands he may have in this instance would justify a call, and I'm calling any non-heart...

Re: Your Saw Flop%

Re: AK UTG (super Tuesday)

[ QUOTE ]
There are two things I do consistently that help me go deep in Supers. First, I do not play marginal hands immediately after the bubble. That's *marginal* hands. I'll play big ones. But...

Short Stack Early Question

Early in a tournament I lose 2/3 of my stack. If it matters, I played KK poorly, but that's not the question.

I have 500 chips left at 30-60 blinds. One limper, I'm on the button with QJh. My...

Re: AKo heavy preflop action

Push or fold. Depends on:

1. Do you want final 3? Fold

2. What have these guys been playing?

3. That's pretty much it.

Add factors of 1-3 together and make your decision.

Raising AK on Button, rags, now what?

Much more experienced in the MTT forum.

2-4 Party, most stacks between 60-80, I have 120 and won 3 out of last 8 with reasonably good hands (no sets, flushes but nothing worse than TPTK).

I...

Re: beating the beginners

Tough chore online. Safer strategy: If someone is bluffing wildly, slowplay good hands. If someone is tight, loosen your opening standards and play accordingly when he comes in.

If someone is...

Re: It started out as a steal...

Um, if the table is really tight, and he's putting his money all in with straight and flush potential, I don't think your hand is good.

But it's hard for me to fold, but I think I do.

BTW, I...

Re: Genious laydown or retarded play?

I'm surprised nobody gave any consideration to the push being an isolation raise. First raiser was short stacked.

Re: How many orbits can you sit out in limit at party?

Thanks for the fast reply.

I'd give 2 orbits, but hearing about McDonald's I'm seriously reconsidering.

How many orbits can you sit out in limit at party?

At a good table, 4 sitting out. Just curious how long they can sit before they are pulled. Anyone know?

Re: foding set of 10\'s

First, you can't assume your opponent is on AA-JJ. The range is surely bigger, at least AK, but in some cases he may have tried with 22-99, AQ, or worse.

Second, if he does have a higher pocket...
