Re: 2 Biggest Tourneys Each Week For $35 or Less Buy-In?

I play the $5000 guarantee $25+2 on Empire. They have a couple each night at 20:00 EST and 23:00 EST.

Re: Need analysis of key live hands from MTT

Against a made hand AK is a drawing hand. In other words if you are up against a pocket pair you need to draw to win.

AQs on monotone board

Villain is 35/6 after 17 hands. Not much to go on. If the pot was bigger I might have stuck around, but I figured I had the worst of it and cut my losses. Is this too weak?

Re: The 1 week statistics Challenge

I'm new to MTT's. I've only been playing them for a few weeks. I try to do one a day so I'll contribute. Count me in.

AQs folded to river bet

Villian seems fairly solid (19/6 after 30 hands). Can't see him on a 3, but possibly a PP. Right after I folded I looked at the size of the pot and Miller's advice came back to me. Would you have...

TT against overcard flop

UTG+2 is LP after 13 hands (69/0)
MP1 has the dice icon
CO is LP after 5 hands (60/0) also short stacked ($9.46)
Button is LA after 47 hands (70/13)

This is a good table for me, but I always...

Re: To Slowplay or Not? (Two Hands give me a line)

Hand one you are the agressor, there is no reason to believe that someone else will bet except the Button. If you check raise you will face the guys between you with calling two cold. In this...

Re: AKs with some weird circumstances

Here's my gut feel. I would call the SB on the flop and fold to a bet on the turn. I find that in micro limits it is very hard to get anyone to fold a pair. If I don't have a pair and no...

Re: T9s in MP. I don\'t think I played this correctly.

Preflop good. Flop good. Turn I would probably try for the the free card and check/call. I like the river bet after showing aggression on the turn. Had you checked the turn the play may have been...

Re: was I too passive with this

Yes. CO may have caught part of this flop and tried to steal it against two players. I'd bet/call the turn and call it down UI on the river.

Re: Unhappy with these 9s

If we assume you are behind either a pair of Ks, 2-pair or a set of 7s you only have 5 outs. The pot is still fairly small so I'd fold.

Re: KQs flops trips

Actually AQ would give him the boat. He either has AA, AQ, or a Q with a smaller kicker. I was hoping for the smaller kicker....lol.

Re: Give me a frop line

I'm going to guess check/raise forcing two-bets on UTG+1 and MP2. Try to get it heads up with Button.

Re: Playing Queens when overcard hits

Based on preflop action I would put villain on AK. I would cap preflop AK, but most will only cap preflop with AA-JJ. The check call on the flop says "overcards". It's tough to give this up as you...

Re: Bad play at every step?

Limp preflop.

Both players called your raise preflop. BB bets into the preflop raiser on a flush board. What could he have? You raise and SB goes for the c/r 3-bet. What could he have? You...

Re: A3o SB at .25/.5

On this kind of table lots of people with play Ax. Now your Ax only dominates your opponents A2. Even with these table conditions A3 is not playable. You may make a case for A7-A9.

If I found...

Re: AQo hand

Based on your read you very well may be dominated. AK is the most likely holding. But I always think someone raising or reraising preflop has AK and that has gotten me into trouble. To re-raise...
