Re: ($109) Too passive a line, or just right?

If I raise the turn, I'm only pushing out weak hands, and folding hands that are scared of the Ace. True, I'm making a diamond draw pay, but given his line, he obviously doesn't have an Ace, and is...

($109) Too passive a line, or just right?

My read on MP1 is that he's nothing special. The raise by MP2 is a legitimate hand. He's tight. I have to put him on JJ or better or maybe AK, AQ.

PartyPoker, Big Blind is t60 (9 handed)...

Cubbies/\'Stros

I really like taking the Cubs today. Zambrano's a solid pitcher who beat Houston last time around in Houston. The Cubs seem to give the Astros lots of problems. I think putting Chicago at +140 is...

Re: Thursday MLB

I wouldn't bet against the Phils right now. Too hot. Rollins is on a 20 game hit streak and they're playing with confidence.

Re: Thursday MLB

I agree that the over on the Mets game is a good bet.

What do you guys think about the under (9) on the Phillies/Braves game. Two solid starting pitchers and the Phillies always seem to flame out...

Possible to unregister now from Party tourneys?

There's an unregister button for the aussie $215 I just won an entry to. Can I unregister and take the cash, sort of like stars?

Which One?

If I'm using the internet to play poker mostly, is the cheaper package sufficient or do I need to pay the extra $10/month?

Re: Why I\'ll never be good - KK hand

I think you need to weigh the odds that the big stack is on a bluff vs. the odds that he really does have an Ace. I think your raise preflop is fine, as long as you are willing to get away from this...

Re: Mini Step 5, Level 4 AQ Decision

This is very boderline and read dependant. If you're gambling it up for 1st, then call. With your stack, it's not so bad to wait for a better oppurtunity. Even if he's pushing something like a...

Re: $33 Bubble: Wow, -EV to call with AKo vs bigstack pushing with any 2?

Here's why I think it's a clear call:

Assuming the short stack is not a complete idiot (assuming a lot, I know), eventually he will call if the Big stack is truly pushing any two. When he calls...

Re: My favorite 6-max hand - playing against posters

I think the preflop raise sucks. 22 plays terribly in a multiway pot (unless you hit trips) and as these are new posters, there's no indication that they will fold to the preflop raise. So you...

Re: Crazy, Crazy Hand

For those that care, UTG wins the hand w/KQ off. BB had 99. Great table.

Re: Going to Australia!

Cool, I'm also leaving the 9th out of Philly. Where are you coming from? And no, I haven't seen my $2500. I'm not sure what to make of that.

Do it, call--Or No WAY!

Here's the situation:

I'm big stack by far at my table. It's a $50 SNG. I'm in the BB and I have two small stack all ins in front of me. The first push I see as desperation because the blinds...

I'm a complete newbie to Multi-table tourneys. Previously all my experience amounted to the $1 new player multi party offers. (I didn't win but I did money for $2!!)

Re: Misapplication of Small Stakes Hold \'em or okay?

What if I was instead holding A /images/graemlins/club.gif5 /images/graemlins/club.gif?
Is the check turn raise permissable then?

Thanks,

Misapplication of Small Stakes Hold \'em or okay?

What about the 600M

Do I lose significantly by going with the 600M instead of the 700M. What do I miss specifically?
