Live 4/8 hand river play

In a great live 4/8 game, 8 of the other 9 players are loose passive, and the 9th is a LAG who is now on my right after a recent seat change. From the hands I've seen he'll raise the flop with any...

Re: put to the test on the turn

[ QUOTE ]
Fold. EP isn't bluffing 3 players without a made hand here. Your best case scenario is you're against two pair, but the worst case scenario has you drawing dead to a set or straight.

Re: 2/4 JJ in a family pot

I'd raise the flop here since I was open ended. If I had a bigger overpair, I would wait until the turn.

Fold to get away if you have a read, or RAISE to protect your hand. But don't call.

Re: Flopped bottom set of 3\'s - tons of action - 44BB POT?

[ QUOTE ]
I'm trying to figure out why you were even IN that hand to begin with. 33 in MP1 is REAL REAL loose.

The smart play would have been folding pre-flop!!

Why on earth are they mad?

Last week I went with a couple buds of mine to my local cardroom. It was my 22nd B-Day at the time, so I decide to let loose and have some fun by playing some maniac style 4/8 for the night. So...

Re: who is the hottest chick over 40?

Gotta go with Demi... surprised nobody has mentioned Sandra Bullock, she's probably my second pick.

Re: Common Party $3-$6 Situation

Typical PP players will bet so many hands here that you are ahead of and call you down to the river with them. I'd raise the flop, bet the turn and bet the river. If he 3-bets me or check raises me...

Re: Ugly BB hand

PF: looks good

Flop: Pretty tricky but I'll take a stab. You have a vulnerable hand and your relative position sucks so you can't really c/r the flop to protect your hand unless CO and Button...

Re: Playing a draw aggressive against a Preflop raiser

Why didn't you raise PF?

Since you didn't, I'd c/r the flop.

Re: closest casino to DFW, TX?

Hollywood here in Shreveport is the closest, about 2.5 hours from Dallas, 3 from Ft. Worth. They don't have tourneys or stud though.

Re: KTs - Lag Central?

I don't understand what you think was so LAGish about it. You're heads up with TPGK + backdoor flush draw on a completely ragged flop. He could raise such a huge range of hands here. Be glad he...

Re: Who here is the best at playing video games?

I wouldn't want to play poker with alot of posters on this board, but I would be willing to risk my whole bankroll to play them in Halo.

Re: shreveport-hollywood

I live in Shreveport and play there(It's the only cardroom in town). The 4/8 games there are really great, but the weekend 10/20 games are just as good. They usually have one table of 20/40 running...

Re: The best video game of all time for a console

Xbox Halo Multi-player, not even close. I've wasted well over 4,000 hours playing this game and am not tired of it. It's like lightning quick chess.
