Re: 50/100 AK vs possible straight and flush

Call the turn and donk a non-J,T river? Maybe we shouldn't donk diamonds on the river though.

This is just a thought. I personally think that the turn should be a 3-bet.

I don't have pokertracker at work here but you are guys are checking that box that says, "Show only those hands that went to showdown", or something like that, right? If you click this box I think...

Re: Heads Up Strategy Question

Not to side track this too much but where are you playing head's up poker and at what stakes? I'd like to play some at the 10-20 to 15-30 level. At party/stars you are lucky to get a few hands in...

Re: Chart - EV of Calling on the River... (is folding as bad as we think?)

I see now that I made some mathematical mistakes in my first post. I apologize for that (I understand what I did wrong). When I finished the chart and first looked at it it was an eye opener to me....

Re: Question for 10/20 players

I moved down from 4 tables to 3 tables. I plan to move back up to 4 tables sometime soon and then to 5 tables someday.

If I'm playing 10 handed then it's 4+ tables (it's been a while since I have...

Re: I maybe wanna fold this river

I don't think this is even remotely close to a fold on the river, but I also think the path you chose to get to the river is sub-optimal.

I think 3-betting the flop and leading the turn is best,...

Some people don't understand this. Most good players do. Folding the river for 1 bet is not a big mistake because it costs you the pot. Ed Miller, I believe, was simplifying a rule for...

Chart - EV of Calling on the River... (is folding as bad as we think?)

I posted this at the end of Victor's "stupid 1010 hand" thread, but I'm so thoroughly confused by the resulting chart that I think it deserves it's own thread so I'm reposting. Mods can delete if...

Re: video 10/20 7min of my life

4:54 QTo you ask about folding to the turn check raise... that is simply rediculous. You can't fold there. Good check behind on the river.

Re: video 10/20 7min of my life

4:27 - 89s I think your pre-flop raise here is bad. You are trying to isolate a bad player with 9 high? I think limping > folding > raising. I just don't like this here.

Re: Incorrect application of the Spicy F theorum?

I think you are missing one thing... Hero is going to fold the river if villian 3 bets him. I am almost certain of this and it's why I think the play has merit here.
