Re: Call down or lay down?

I think this hand qualifies for WA/WB (check/call turn, bet/fold river). But I might be wrong.

Re: (Live) 3/6 - Flopped flush, bad fold to turn cap?

No, it's not a bad fold. It's a horrendous fold. You are ahead here like 90% of the time. I won't be surprised if the river was like check-ckeck-check-bet-call-call-call and somebody wins with 2...

Re: 10/20 A4s

I'd raise here and hope he caps.
Turn: If he capped the flop I try to check raise. He probably flopped something like two pair or a set. If he just called the flop, I probably check as well, showing...

Re: A trifecta of poorly played hands.

I'd play all of them differently.

1. Bet the turn, fold to a raise.
2. Value bet the river.
3. You must bet the turn.

It doesn't mean I'm right, this is just how I'd play these hands.

Your hand range made sense for the MP1, not the SB. What hand does the SB have?

Ouch, sorry, I misread the post. SB is 28/2 so he can have a big range of hands including...

Re: Interesting 3/6 hand

His play is consistent with QQ, although a lot of tight players will slowplay AQ, AA or KK on the flop and then go nuts even unimproved, they cannot accept that their premium hand can lose. On the...

Re: Scan cards now. com Scam

Jeezzzzzzzzz. Wow. I'm going to put a suggestion on their site. Why wouldn't this software play for me while I spend the money traveling? I'd pay extra $20 for this feature.

Re: Does this move have + EV? or am I spewing?

From my experience MP1's move usually means something like 55 or 44. But I'd folded the turn anyway, you may be check raised by SB or BB.

Because his hands are likely either:

-Draw (no value in betting if missed, but often players will bet their missed draw here)
-2 pair
-trips

I think the second two are more likely....

Re: i\'m not running bad, i\'m playing bad!

Here is a todo list:

1. Don't call players morons, retards and idiots.
2. Don't ask rhetorical questions.
3. Read the forum.
4. Post hands.

Re: Live 4/8 hand

I don't think WA/WB line applies here because it wasn't proven by any action. You just assumed that somebody may have an ace and started calling, allowing hands like 78 or 88 to draw up on you.

Re: Small set becomes low full house...

Read on SB would be helpful. What kind of hands could he cold call 3 PF? Is he a tight player? Then I just call the river raise. Otherwise 3-bet. And, yes, raise the turn.
