Re: flop nuts, call or raise?

I think this is well played. Yes, BB raised PF, but with this board there aren't a lot of hands he's capping with. When you chack the flop you want a bet and a raise so you can 3 bet it.

Re: One of my problem areas + example hand

My line is my usual line. I bet for value. There are a lot of hands you beat that will call you here, that will not bet here.

A typical busted flush won't bet here. You need to know you are up...

I just couldn't see MP3 coldcalling the flop, and then raising the turn with anything I was beating.
So, is this a standard laydown?

Re: At any point do say \"Hmmm, shouldn\'t have slow played flop.\"??

Your relative position is the key in this hand.

I call the flop, I call the turn. 3 bet or cap if it gets raised. Pound them on the river.

I want all those overcalls I can get the first pass. A...

Here's my problem with your line, but sometimes you can't help what happens. In a 6 player field, how much stock can you put in your A being good?

Since the bet came from our immediate right PF,...

Re: Waiting to protect until turn: extremely large pot.

Here's my read on this hand:

What raises PF and caps a 3 bet? AA, KK, QQ, JJ(Unlikely), AK (maybe AQs, TT, 99) with a higher probability of the first 3.

Flop: He leads (expected) Calls a raise...

You have a straight and you're getting 26:1 to call. You cannot fold this hand.

Also, I'd be inclined to fold JTo preflop. Other than that, nice hand.

Didnt raise PF since no one would fold there.

Re: When to slow down with overcards OOP?

You are on a weak draw here. I would c/f the turn and c/f the river in this small pot.
