Re: A guys w/ zero aggression bets into me.

I guess he's really passive, but I think most anyone would go for the checkraise here if they had a decent king. It's between calling down or raising him to see where he's really at. If he calls then...

Re: An opponent with a photographic memory

In one of Malmuth's essays he argued that photographic memory would be a great thing to have in seven card stud, for pretty obvious reasons

Re: Fast Large Downswing

Wasn't really focusing on the wins. Just never experienced such a quick collapse. I promise you I'll be playing another 10k over the next 12 or so days.

Fast Large Downswing

Okay I hate posting about stuff like this because I feel like people might think I'm just whining. Just trying to see where this falls in the realm of poker swings.

I play 10k hands of 5/10 at...

Re: in trouble

You might need to seriously reconsider what part poker should play in your life. I hate to admit it, but most people are employeed in uninteresting jobs with little reward for exceptional...

Re: What is pattern mapping?

You worded your response kind of in a way that might scare off new players to online poker.

Usually the problem space is way too large to make legitimate deductions off of what random number is...

Re: Conversation with a BOT maker

God damn, nothing matters!

Why don't we just let the terrorists in to rape and pillage our country? We could never stop all of them so why even try??

You mechanically interfaced bot would still...

Re: Your ENTIRE bankroll on AA...do you do it?

Because I spent months building up my bankroll and no one is a sure winner in the short term. I'm not going to risk it all on a single bet to get to a level of cash I will reach anyway.

Once you...

Re: Could I get my account closed for bad language in an email?

The guy was probably just trying to feel powerful and important. While using profanity in an e-mail is never a good idea, it can come back to haunt you, I doubt that EuroBet would be able to justify...

Re: Round figure syndrome

I used to think about this, but it never bothered me that much. Just think of poker as a never ending game, not a bunch of individual sessions. It's better to leave at 3996 than making poor plays to...

Re: Dealing with Large Losses at a Very Good Table

Here are two consecutive hands I had at a 5/10 table, I was trying to play as tightly and as aggressively as possible.

Kinda let my guard down on this first hand, only called that raise in the SB...

Re: Interesting Ace King question in holdem

They are independent events which must be treated seperately. The AK and the 66 can't both pair and set at the same time.
