Re: Poker Rooms in Vegas

If you end up at Orleans at some point(I know, off-strip, but...), they have reasonable buy-in tourneys every day without feeling like you need to be a high-roller to play and they are well run.

Re: Event 4 Current Standings

Lookout for Zelong Dong to win the thing. He's a very good online player. If you've played big tournies on Stars or Party, you've played him.

Re: \"the bad table\"

Also, you should find out if you in fact lower your EV by playing 4 tables at once. Don't think that your EV stays the same each time you add a table. It goes down with each and may in fact become...

Re: My first hand post...

Nothing you can do. He got strung out for the 2 bets trying to see a flop with position. My guess is he doesn't cold-call 2 bets. Once the flop hits, you're sunk.

And like everyone else said,...

Re: Was I Playing To Win?

Sorry but I disagree. I'm OK with the check-raise, but you better be damn sure you'll get the chance to raise. You did. And it needed to be all-in. Several hands could call the pre-flop raise in...

Re: Hellmuth mucked KK

Hellmuth folded a KK. He apologized for taking so long and said he'd only folded this twice in his life.

His TT, I'm pretty sure, is where he looked for the ESPN camera and announced that this...

Re: Hellmuth mucked KK

[ QUOTE ]
Why hellmuth felt his KK was beat?

[/ QUOTE ]

It's a character flaw lately. If he's in a hand, he feels he must be beat or just about to be.

Re: EPT Copenhagen - who is coming?

Well, I don't think it is at all impossible to think she could win an FPP tournament, even with mediocre skill/experience. I have, and I am by no means, even close to being an expert player. I can...

I guess I'm in minority here, but I say not. Not ugly either, by any means, but hot? No. Evelyn Ng is hot.

Re: AK too aggressive?

I might slow down after the call on the flop and the turn brings a Q and not bet out. I would probably check-call and hope to get the river for free and see what it brings. If the flop had brought...

Re: complete the small blind with any two suited?

I thought SSHE suggested calling from the SB with any 2 suited cards, so long as it was an unraised pot. Whether it's a tight or loose table, doesn't matter.

Re: Who is Zeejustin?

College student at Maryland. A year or so ago, someone did a story on him about the online poker craze and how he's played up to 9 tables at once or something like that.
