Re: Is it good to stay in the red zone?
This idea has nothing to do with the Gigabet thread. In Gigabet's thread, he said the gamble would not hurt you significantly, since it would bring you back down to the average stack size which...

Re: Is it good to stay in the red zone?
[ QUOTE ]
I know how to play a mid stack just fine, and i'm sure Betgo does too. the point is, that a stack of that size simply can't be played all that profitably, no matter who you are. there are...

Re: On Phil (H)
I think he called with AK because the guy (from the one previous hand I saw, go sample size!) was a complete donk, and he was trying desperately to get all his chips before someone else did. He knew...

Re: 2bb final table limping Aj ep
I think I see what you are saying. You are encouraging a bigger pot with a hand that may be a favorite over some hands people may limp. You are increasing your chance of being knocked out, but...

Re: Do you like this play from this position?
I agree that's something to worry about where a standard raise may be better. I was mostly posting in argument to those who advocate flat calling to try to get away from the bad beat :P

Re: Do you like this play from this position?
If you know he will call with much worse hands, why give him a chance to get away from a bad flop for him when you can get all his chips a much bigger percengage of the time? Also, if he has ANY...

Re: Two hands of KK i played
First you say he should fold KK to that action, then you say that the push is terrible even though if he's playing against you (or someone who wants to fold KK there), he will get them to fold a...

If we establish I have no folding equity here, I might as well call the whole way, and give myself by definition better odds. I don't care if villian played his hand perfectly if I know...

Re: Folding AA here?

The math throughout your last post is very strange.
Just one example:

If you double up, you would have 2/6 or 1/3 of the chips and 1/3 of 400 percent is 133 percent. In...

Re: AQo hand at $20 live final table
The reason I'd like to raise without pushing is so I can possibly get away from a UTG limp trap. I'm trying to figure out if there is an amount that is big enough to not give odds, and also small...

Re: AQo hand at $20 live final table
Well I guess there are no more replies to this thread. I ended up totally misplaying the hand, and only betting out some of my chips, intending to call any raise which reduced my fold equity. ...

Re: AQo hand at $20 live final table
Alright, it seems that so far it's a clear push. Looking back on the hand I think pushing is probably the best option, but at the table I felt like I didn't want to risk my whole stack preflop...

AQo hand at $20 live final table
Hi, I ran into what I thought was a pretty tough hand last night in a $20 buyin live tourney. There were about 30 people who entered, and we all start with 2000 chips. The players seem to have a...

Re: QJs help on the turn.
I was very worried about the 3-bet after I raised, and I'm not sure what I would have done in that situation. Is a fold clear, or should I be calling down?

Well I was thinking either call in case he hit 2-pair, or raise for value since I probably still had the best hand.
I'll continue with my line after another reply or two.

UTG seemed fairly loose from what I'd seen, but I didn't have any...
