Re: raised 99 with Ace on flop against pfreraiser

[ QUOTE ]

your usage of "weak" is incorrect.
a weak player will tend to fold.
a passive player will tend to call down.

Re: Got married to my preflop raise, where should I get a divorce?

Usual scenario with 3-d raise with AA after the stealer on Prima 0.5/1 -1/2.
Everyone folds to MP3 who raised with J9s (there is lot of stealing on Prima with such hands).
CO reraised, blind folds,...

Re: raised 99 with Ace on flop against pfreraiser

OK, I did not consider Ace on flop in my calculations.
Lets imagine we are on the button with KK, TAG raises from EP, we reraised, blinds fold and there is A /images/graemlins/diamond.gif on flop....

Re: River value bet? (new to 2/4: MOBS?)

I think bet/fold is ok.
I dont think SB has flush - he bet first in on flop and did not reraise.
6 is also unlikely - he called preflop raise and bet on 4 opponents on flop.
I think, it is middle...

Re: KK vs 2 Q\'s on the board

There are two main options:
1) MP2 has flush draw or middle pair.
2) MP2 has Q, or middle pair.

If his has flush draw or middle pair I should not allow him proceeding cheaply and catch his...

Re: Got married to my preflop raise, where should I get a divorce?

yeah. i'd discount them, but yeah.
mainly because AA-KK 3-bet pf, and QQ probably does too.

Re: Got married to my preflop raise, where should I get a divorce?

[ QUOTE ]
19/3 is not a rock.
i call on the turn, since you have somewhere between 3 and 10 outs.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think there is maximum 5 outs, with TT and JJ MP3, perhaps, would raise on the...

Re: Flush draw

It is doubtfull that an average player even on 0.5/1 will call with 3h or 5h BOTH turn and river, he will rather fold to your turn bet. By checking turn and betting river we are at least shure he...

Re: Flush draw

[ QUOTE ]

Doing it your way means you have to call the turn and river even when you are behind a better flush. If you bet and get raised, you can usually release the hand after 1 bet.

Re: KQo from SB, a hand similar to my recent AQs post

I do not like bet on flop, if opponents have outs (on this dangerous flop they of course have) by this bet you just give them the money. Even gutshot draw is right to call your bet.
Check-raise,...

Re: raised 99 with Ace on flop against pfreraiser

Prima 0.5/1 is always in range of 20-25 vpt.
Perhaps I will switch to Party in a couple of weeks.

If we decide to continue, should not we raise the turn to protect our hand weak to any Q,K,A and fold to 3-d raise?

Re: JTo flops top pair... yipee!

Re: AQs UTG, makes TP on a board with draws

I think 3 bets on flop are obligatory.
First of all you may force to fold different gutghot draws, middle pairs and backdoor flush draws, you also may force to fold hands which include K.
