I am in the button with $755 and AKo.

UTG, UTG+1 and cutoff limp, I raise to 100. UTG calls and...

I have been sitting at this table for about 20 hands. It has passed from 6 players to 3 in the last 3 hands.

Reads: BB seems a bit LAG, picking lost of small pots-- could be a good player... I...

Re: ($10+1) mid-Pair + draw played really passively

Pre-flop:
In the three preceeding games, UTG always called pre-flop, and there where no raises pre-flop. I am aiming for his stack... In a normal situation, I am often folding here.

Top or mid...

Re: Sit with max when 200 BB is allowed ?

Concerning the "always buy for max", this is clearly an oversimplification, and wrong.

If all players have a much bigger stack then you, then they are going to make mistakes against you: their...

NL pre-flop raise

I have a question regarding late tourney pre-flop play.

All fold to you and you want to raise (because you have a good hand, or because you want to steal).

If a raise of 4 BB is 40% of your...

Re: 24hPOKER no more withdrawal fees

Re: learning that you\'re weak tight

going in heads up with AQs over J8, you gotta be favourite - group 2 over group 6?

You are on a very wrong track. HPFAP is a book about limit holdem, and you seem to be playing pot limit. The...

Re: Lorinda - $1 buy in / $1,500 guaranteed at Poker Stars
