Re: $40/$80 hand AKs

i don't think this guy is "slighty weak-tight" if he folded the nut flush draw on the turn, in addition to up to 6 possible outs (which ended up being live).

Re: I just got owned and laughed at

i'm pretty sure most fish will call down with KK QQ or JJ in this situation even if you checkraise. especially if they have a heart.

Re: *Official HUSH bad beat thread

i dont' know what limit your playing but i would call down the checkraise pretty often in 10/20. seen a lot of stupid [censored] that i can't fold for one on the river in a huge pot.

how many BB...

Re: I just got owned and laughed at

i agree, i think being a button/SB war against a loose fish, his capping standards are pretty wide. I think the number of hands he's calling down with will be pretty wide too, and to get the most...

Re: it just reaches the point where you grin and bear it...

yeah i'm small potatoes compared to his 400-bb welcome to 10/20 downswing... oh well. i thought it was amusing at least.

it just reaches the point where you grin and bear it...

Stepping it up to 10/20 recently, I hit a 200 BB downswing immediately. i took a few days off, and yesterday I sack up, decide I wont let it get me down, and get back at it.

i play only two tables...

Re: I just got owned

i'd check the turn through here, the flop was rainbow and drawless. and with a 2.7 aggression factor i'm not completely comfortable folding to a checkraise.

there are very few cards that could...

Re: Raaaaaaaaise

i dont' think i would call 98o in that position. you could be sandwiched for lots of bets with a draw with the SB, the agressor, being right next to you. flopping an 8 or a 9 wouldn't make me all...

Re: KJs in the BB 5way, too much, too little, just right?

I felt MP was a little too passive to be 3betting something I beat on the flop. but with my TPGK and 2nd nut flush draw I figured I had equity to cap.

wasn't a huge fan of the Q on the turn, lots...

QQ 3way

BB is 57/7/1.5 over 156 hands
SB is 64/6/.5 over 81 hands

SB has gone under my radar, BB i feel is extremely loose both preflop and post flop but doesn't raise stupidly

Re: 88 played agg, and no read..... 10/20

yeah i don't see anything he'd call you with here, besides maybe exactly A7, that you beat. flush draws are gonna fold unless he hit his J. usually calling two cold on a board like this is a 4, but i...

You can't fold to a raise. Bet-call and check the river. Probably fold if he fires another shell on the river.

Re: 10/20: blind defense part 2 - KQs

Re: 10/20: blind defense part 2 - KQs

bringing up a pretty old thread. everyone is advocating check calling the turn here, is it partly because there aren't really any overcards that can hurt us now, because of KQ?

same opponent, you...

Re: i always feel like a wimp in this spot

looking at the hand, we do have tons of outs if we're behind and we're checkraised, so i guess it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.
