Re: floped a set...time to get paid

As played I would of checked behind on the turn. Villian's play screams of AK. I would give him the opportunity to bluff the river, and if an Ace or King hits he will pay you off anyways. If he...

Re: 5-10 NL Live QQ Preflop decision

Thanks for the replies. Given my circumstances and the fact that I was at the end of my session does anyone else fold and call it a night being up 60BB. Can someone run these hands through...

Re: 5-10 NL Live QQ Preflop decision

As it turned out i folded and so did the initial raiser. However i do think it is a close Push/Fold decision. I thought i was ahead 60% of the time based on my reads. However this was one of my...

Re: 5-10 NL Live QQ Preflop decision

the range of hands for the button could be any mid-high pair or Ace face. That is obvious to everyone at the table. when the small blind pushed I knew he wanted to get heads up with the button. I...

Re: 5-10 NL Live QQ Preflop decision

As far as player reads the button is terrible, SB is bad but not a total donk, MP is very solid but has liberal PF raising standards. Puke is an option...

5-10 NL Live QQ Preflop decision

Game is very loose with 2 other solid players. Saw a guy call $350 preflop with 33 with no hesitation. Currently I have $1100 in front.

Cards are dealt, guy in middle position raise to $35...

Re: 88 final table hand

What is your reasoning for pushing 99 and folding 88? I would think that the only hands calling your push would be 1010-AA AK maybe AQ AJ. How would 99 be any better against that range?

I do...

Re: General Question on when to Raise

Min raise the turn, value bet the river ~75. If he calls both put him on the BL. I definitely think you left some money on the table. /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Re: 25nl 6max, you make the call

villians call, reraise screams of an eight here. I would fold given the read you have on him. However, at the 25NL on Party this is hard to lay down. I think you're ahead 15% of the time and will...

Re: How much respect do I give this guy?

I don't play these limits but I think you needed to bet about 250-300 on the river with intentions of folding to an all in. You will probably see K /images/graemlins/diamond.gifX...

Re: How much gamble do you have in you?

[ QUOTE ]
Let's see I make 120k per year (not playing poker), x 35 years left = 42million. 100k is way too small. Maybe 100million factoring in quality of life, sex, etc. If I was poor I might...

Re: Flopped top set...help

Red,

I don't really think folding is an option here. You didn't mention that the turn brought 3 of a suit so i'm assuming that a flush is out of the question here. Right now the bigger question...

Re: Just plain nastiness

Well let me say that this guy had been showing down top pair bad kicker in huge pots. He was calling down on questionable draws and hitting also. Everyone there knew him as a bad limit player so in...
