What MTTs am I missing out on outside of Stars?
I occasionally play SNGs and cash games on other sites, but I always play MTTs on Stars. What are some of the *must play* tournaments I am missing out on elsewhere?
When I say must play, I...

Re: 2 tough decisions from Foxwoods
Hand 1 - I think UTGs bet size dictates my action somewhat. He bet 300 into a 900 pot, I like a raise to 1200-1500 (I'm assuming UTG and BB have similar stack sizes as you?). I think a raise defines...

Re: Re-stealing
Another thought regarding my 3rd criteria and how it isn't a formula to be followed by rote.
If I guy steals my BB the 1st time, and then the next 2-3 times he has a chance to steal and doesn't, I...

Re: Re-stealing
This is probably not optimal, and one should always try to know the players at your table, etc., etc., but here are some loose guidelines that I've been using lately that seem to help me decide when...

Re: Hey Lee Jones, Fxxx You.
Instant Tournament Histories would really be a helpful feature at Stars. After playing 50 SNGs and 5 or more MTTs, it really is a pain to spend the next morning copying and pasting tourney #s to get...

Re: Best Tournaments (multi and Single)
So what sites have a good MTT structure?
I'm assuming that everyone thinks that a 'good' structure is one that favors a good player. A structure that allows plenty of time/space for a good...

Re: Johnny Chan story
So, you are saying he can do this because he is so good, that the players at this table couldn't use this information to hurt him?
Or that he is the Man, and chooses to do what he likes, even if...

Re: Johnny Chan story
Chan knows how to play, that's for sure. Given that, why does he show these laydowns? I know many 2+2ers would NEVER show these hands, including myself. I have enough problems in tournaments without...

Re: Easy Push w/Trash?
microbet,
Why is it not a good push if I'm 95% sure he will call, but good at 90%? Just wondering how you reach that conclusion.
Using SNG Power Tools (and setting the BBs calling range at...

Re: Easy Push w/Trash?
Matt Walker,
The stack sizes listed are AFTER posting the blinds, so I need to put in 660 (leaving me with 864) to put him allin. He has 460 left to call with.

Re: Stars Rebuy - Calling All-In w/AK
Results:
I called. UTG shows A2 /images/graemlins/heart.gif, and Big Stack shows QQ. Needless to say, the Queens held up, and I bust out 193rd.
Thanks for the replies.
