Re: cheap travel from Indianapolis

ATA flies direct for around 200 plus tax roundtrip. You could find cheaper no doubt, but it's not worth it in my opinion. Packages for Vegas aren't very attractive as we usually have rooms offered...

Re: Trump This weekend

I've hit Trump's twice in the past month. First visit was 3 weeks ago on a Saturday (5:30-7:30pm 3/6fk, 9:30-2:30am 5/10fk), second visit was this past Saturday (9:30pm to 3:30am 3/6fk).

There...

Re: Chicago-bound, anything worthwhile B&M there?

Thanks for posting the link. I hit that place up about 3 weeks ago and I still feel the need to constantly scrub my hands.

you have to buy a badge to play. 60 bucks for the entire convention, 23 bucks per day if you want to do it that way.

Re: Caesers, IN vs, Trump, IN

I played at Trump's on Saturday. It was my first time there and actually my first time playing in a B&M cardroom.

I wasn't sure how to get there, so there was no way that I would try to drive...

Re: Warning to B&M newbies on the meaning of \"table stakes\"!

B&M Newbie here, with about 21 hours left until I break my cherry.

Since the subject has been raised, I'm very curious as to what is bad form, rudeness, or just plain pot suicide in a cardroom...

Re: 2/4 Party - burned by unnecessary trickiness

Re: 2/4 Party - burned by unnecessary trickiness

I see, so I did the right thing by accident. I haven't read SSH yet, so it looks like a trip to the book store is in order.

I've read Poker Theory, some other book on online poker (can't remember...

2/4 Party - burned by unnecessary trickiness

First hand played, the button has just passed and I'm in the CO seat.

I'm dealt 8/images/graemlins/club.gif9/images/graemlins/club.gif. UTG limps, folded to MP+2 who raises, I call, Button folds,...

Re: The return of PokerBob: Hand 2

Re: 2/4 Pacific - Loose as a Goose - Could have been Played better?

Heh, I guess I am a little crazy at that. The table reported a 68% percent flop rate when I joined and this was the third hand. The previous two hands had 8 to 9 people seeing the flop for multiple...

Re: The return of PokerBob: Hand 2

i'd have probably checked on the turn in the hopes of seeing the river for one BB (slim hope). the button would have bet and the bb would have still raised though. you'd then be in the ugly...

2/4 Pacific - Loose as a Goose - Could have been Played better?

Alright, I had just joined this table a couple hands earlier so I had no reads on anyone other than the table was as loose as I've ever seen.
