Folding trips

Second horbit 30/60 at PP full table.
Button stats are 28/11/1.04 after 541 hands.
Everyone folds and I raise in the CU w/ A /images/graemlins/spade.gif2 /images/graemlins/spade.gif, Button...

Re: Party 30/60: AA on blank board.

A player with those stats would probably raise any pair or any 2 high cards. I think that with Tx he would have reraised on flop.
I put him on a flush draw/straight draw on flop, maybe 56.
I would...

Re: QQ

... raise with the the intention of folding a re-raise. If he calls and checks the river go ahead and bet it.
Why should he slowplay the flop w/ a 9 and then bet out the turn?
And an overpair...

Re: hand 5 - \"How good is your Limit Holdem?\"

I prefer QJo:
Let's say he calls pf and then flop is:
1) Ace - King high: he checks, you bet, most of the time he folds, if he raises it's an easy fold. If he calls I'd bet the turn too with the...

Re: $20/40: 77 in cutoff

I would 3-bets the flop and then:
1) If he caps the flop and bets the turn I fold.
2) If he calls and checks the turn I would bet and fold if raised with the intention of check-folding the river....

Re: 20/40 Mid Pair

IMO your fold would not be easy but would be a very costly mistake.

Re: 20/40 Mid Pair

I prefer check-raising the flop and leading the turn with an easy fold if he raises.

I would raise preflop since I'm heads-up w/ Ax and he didn't show strength.

correct fold?

MP1 is a loose aggressive-passive w/ VP$IP 34.27
SB is semi-loose aggressive-passive w/ VP$IP 23.03

I have a tight image and I've just won 2 big pots in the previous 7 hands showing AA and AK....

Re: Ballys KK Hand - Give me a line here

Fold.
A 10$ bet on a 100$ pot screams for a raise. I would bet he has either AQ or QQ. Calling is the worst move because you have to fold on the turn to a larger bet. Maybe raising could be a close...

Re: Hand vs. Two Nuts

I would have probably reraised UTG to 20$ preflop. I really want to play this hand heads-up. Smooth calling will let more players call. After you check MP raises to 15$ and UTG calls, this is even a...

Re: Stupid silly hand that has me dumb

I think it is an easy fold.
If you call you are basically looking for a 7 or a runner runner straight but I think implied odds don't justify it. And you can face a 64 as you said. If you raise there...

playing TP from BB

I don't have a specific hand but it could be:
you have K3 in the BB and 4 players see the flop of K84:
bet out the pot? check-call? check-raise? what's the best strategy?
I find myself trapped in...

Re: Is this a blocking bet, or a stupid bet?

I don't like the river bet cause you will be probably be called/raised only by a straight or a flush. What do you think he has? I can't imagine a hand you are ahead that will call you, maybe KT but...

1 table paying attention or 4 tables very tight?

Re: first no limit post

I would probably check-raised the flop to see where you are. If he re-raises it's an easy fold. Otherwise you can check-fold turn and river.

Party poker NL25 (6 max)

I'm in MP2 with AcTc. I call after 2 limpers.

EP bets 1$, EP2 calls, I call, fold, fold.
Turn is Ad (3 players, pot is 5.5$)....

Re: Three Hands from last night

Hand 1:
I fold Q8s UTG preflop. I would probably fold postflop too since i'm heads-up against a short stack player.
Hands 2:
Easy fold post flop. Bluffing on the river is ok, but what if no clubs...
