I raise to t300 not t400.

Normally, I would but I thought that t300 would encourage callers more than I really wanted. You see that t400 still brought 2 callers.

Normally here I'd just call preflop and check/raise a lot of flops.

I was wondering if that was a more standard line.

My thought process was that he had Ax (ten or higher), or PP T or higher....

check/folding the turn is terrible. by checking the possible scare card you just invited him to bluff you out of the pot with an inferior hand.
