I had the same problem....
... just over the last couple of weeks. I first started at .5/1 then onto 1/2 and finally 2/4.
I had my bankroll up to 2500 and after my run at 2/4 it went to 2000. At that point I was pissed so...

Re: Switching from NL to the dreaded limit
Hi.

1. Start out at .5/1 level. This will give you a chance to acclimate....

Re: Time to move up to next level?
Hi Marvin:
Congrats on yr success. I began a little while ago on .5/1 limits & I know I was happy once I achieved 300BB in winnings for the next level. But, one important detail that differs is...

In other words could this disqualify one from one's account &...

Re: Some Hands I Played Tonight.....
Hey thanks for the reply. See I am learning new things. I knew KQo is strong SH, but I didn't think strong enough for raise. I guess I am still used to .5/1 calling station festivals.
And J10s...

Re: Percentage Of Flops Seen
Hi.
I have only 2k hands at 1/2 SH since I recently moved up limits, so take this with a grain of salt. I am now playing 1/2 SH exclusively.
My flop seen percentage is usually ~30%.
1....

Re: ESPN story - poker image takes a hit
I also noticed the author's assertion that skill in poker can be mostly ignored....
The funniest thing about this article is that the author's weak attempt at buttressing his argument by evoking...

Re: Serious question.
Don't worry about the ~2500 hands. Sometimes you can get cold cards for 5000+ hands... staying even or even losing some money. Stats like PFR and VP$IP are decent metrics; however, postflop play is...

Re: The PP 1/2 blood, sweat and tears thread
Hi. HPFAP only speaks of headsup/3-way play, I think. Usually I try to join a 5 person table so that I can be the sixth to complete the full 6man table. And in this way the transition will be...

If I remember correctly the first post was a reply to my post where I just called with J10o in LP, which he said was wrong. The second post says to raise this in LP so there is no contradiction.

Re: The PP 1/2 blood, sweat and tears thread
I've yet to play PP 1/2 Full for a long period of time. However, I've played a small number of hands at 1/2 SH. For some reason, I think skill dominates in this format and there are times where I...

Re: a critique por favor
I think you played this fine. I would've probably done the same. My guess on the outcome MP3 shows pocket Aces.... or straight.
Either way nicely played. I do not think you did anything wrong...
