Re: KQ. Two pair.

I favor 3 betting, but not much over calling. The King hit your opponent. He's either got AK, KQ, or KK. There's more ways he can have AK, but would he checkraise that with this board?

Re: Take it ?

I check with this board. There are 2 overcards to your pair and there are gutshot straight possibilities that are getting the proper odds to call. I check hoping to spike an 8.

Re: Take it ?

On the first hand I check and take the free card. It's highly likely you are behind and unlikely you will get both opponents to fold.

On the second hand I grit my teeth and bet and see how the...

Re: 2nd hand

I say fold the river. Not too many players at this level are going to pull a checkraise bluff on the river.

Long Run Question

How many plays would be considered the "long run" in sports betting, by that meaning I was nearly 100% sure I was a winning/losing player? Thanks.

This hand was played in a Party MTT. We are still relitively early in the tournament. I am in the big blind with 770. Blinds are 25-50. I am dealt T /images/graemlins/spade.gif 5...

Re: Another one

With this hand I would play passively against a LAG type. Just call down and let him bluff at it the whole way.

Re: Another one

Again, bet the turn. It ends up costing you the same as it did in the actual hand, you avoid giving a free card and it takes guessing on the river.

Re: A few AK hands

I believe you made a mistake on the turn by checking. Your opponent could have anything after that flop. If you bet the turn you continue to represent a strong hand and get him to (maybe) fold hands...

Re: PP Friday Special - Is this type of play common?

I think he meant you should have folded. AJo is garbage in early position in no-limit.

Question About Trends

I was wondering what the opinions out there are about trends. I see all this statistical data out there of how State U. is 9-1 against the spread when coming off a road loss, or that so-and-so is 1-4...

Re: Las Vegas Sportsbook Question

Thanks for your reply. I know it is federal law, but do you know why it is federal law? I just don't understand why you can't use a cell phone in a sportsbook but can walk 15 feet to the bar and call...

Las Vegas Sportsbook Question

I was in Vegas recently with my wife and we were wondering why is it illegal to use a cellphone, pager, etc. in the sportsbooks? Does anyone know why they would ban them? Thanks.
