I moved the personal firewall setting on Norton Internet Security down to low from medium and all works well now.

Thanks for the help...I only had a firewall on at all because I connect wirelessly to the router and I thought there was some risk involved there. I could very well be wrong.

alright...absolute works when I drop the personal firewall on Norton to the lowest setting

Is this putting me too much at risk?

bingo... It didn't work before when I tried it, but after unistall/clean/install. Absolute worked when Norton was disabled. I went through and specifically altered the rules for Absolute (main...
