Re: Rusty

I would say more aggressive and more lucky /images/graemlins/laugh.gif. I can't beat them anymore anyway. I'm doing something seriously wrong or just a lot of bad luck.

Thanks,

Guido

Re: Rusty

I think relearning is a big word, I could play 30/60 again but it just feels nice to play some shorthanded at 5/10 /images/graemlins/laugh.gif. I will probably play at 30/60 soon if I can get some...

Re: Rusty

Hi have it all,

Can you explain why you call them? Just telling me what you would do isn't going to help me.

Thanks,

Rusty

Hi all,

I haven't played a lot in the last couple of months and that's why I started some 5/10 a couple of weeks ago. What do you guys think about these 2 folds.

Re: something in this hand felt strange

I like it. Maybe I would 3-bet the turn sometimes but probably not against a guy with these stats. I wouldn't bet the river either after not 3-betting the turn.

Thanks,

Guido

Re: Because I\'m a little rusty... Good or bad?

if you cal the turn, call the river

Why do a lot of you guys say that? I called the turn because of my gutshot and since I didn't hit on the river it was a fold. I agree that the play you suggest...

Re: Is there anybody going to listen to my story

He either has 44 or 55 and maybe 54s. In the heat of the battle I would probably 3-bet. I'm sorry that I couldn't be of any more help.

Thanks,

Guido

Re: Because I\'m a little rusty... Good or bad?

What % of the time do you guys think my hand is still good? Just saying that I have to call because the pot is huge, isn't enough.

Personally I don't think I'm good here even 5% of the time.

Re: A8o in the BB HU

I've seen more crazy stuff at 5/10 than at 30/60 but maybe I haven't played enough at 30/60.

J8, T8, 98... preflop yes, flop yes, turn no.

Re: A8o in the BB HU

I folded because a lot of tight players play 77-JJ this way or a flush draw. IMO I could only beat Q8 or K8. No other hand that I beat plays this way I think.

Thanks,

Re: A8o in the BB HU

A pretty tight player will never raise 45o PF, raise the flop and then raise the turn again with just a draw.

Thanks,

Re: A8o in the BB HU

When you know a player is pretty tight, why wouldn't you believe him when it's HU? Again, what hands do I beat? I forgot to tell but this is 30/60, not 5/10 /images/graemlins/laugh.gif. Does that...

Re: A8o in the BB HU

What hands do I beat against a tight player on the river? Would he raise K8 or Q8 preflop? I can't come up with many hands that he would play this way that I beat. Even a flush draw got there on the...

Re: Because I\'m a little rusty... Good or bad?

Again what hands can he play this way that I beat? He seems a little aggressive preflop but much more than TT he probably doesn't 3-bet here. So I only beat TT and JJ but do you think these hands...

Re: Because I\'m a little rusty... Good or bad?

What hands 3-bet preflop, bet the flop and turn (in a multiway pot) do you beat on the river in your opinion? Why is it horrible?

Can you also explain why you think you should lead or c/r the...

Because I\'m a little rusty... Good or bad?

30/60 Party, 10 handed

2 folds and a loose player raises (60/9), the guy to his left 3-bets (33/14 but only after 40 hands, his postflop aggression factors are 2; 5; 4 for what that's worth), the...

A8o in the BB HU

My opponent has a PFR of about 15% and a VP$IP of about 19 so he's obviously decent preflop. His postflop aggression factors are 1.5, 1 and 1 respectively. So not bad either.

It was a full ring...

Re: How are you guys doing here?

Again, I'm sorry I made this post and would never have made it when some make such a big deal about it.

I don't think the occasional LC post is a big deal and makes other posts drop. For the more...
