While I love NLHL I find myself playing plenty of limit omaha. I feel that my pf play would improve significantly if I could play around with a few numbers on paper. Specifically what are the odds of...

Re: When did I become soft in the money (LC)

I dont think he would fold 25%, he is getting about the right pot odds to call even if he is 100% sure he is dominated (which he is not). All the same you probly have the best hand and I would push...

Re: OOP against bigger stacks with large hands (hand quiz)

1. I think you have to push here cuz a.)the pot is 400 chips you need real bad and pushing gives you a real chance at picking them up right here.* b.) he probly dosent have AA, KK cuz you have an ace...

How many hands would I have to play in a normal(no-limit) ring game in order to get a solid ( +- 5%) idea of how much $ I am making an hour. Lets assume only playing one table at a time. I have no...

How many multi sng\'s till good guess on ROI?

I have heard a lot of talk about how you need to play 1000 1 table sng's to have an even semi-accuarate idea of what your real ROI is, I was wondering how many 18 or 27 person sng's I would have to...

PS turbo ROI

How much of an advantage does one give up when one plays the 9 player turbos on poker stars? I know that it becomes more of a crap shoot because you only see a few hands and the blinds go up rapidly,...

Re: Push or Wait

i would say fold because the other ss is almost pot commited after his bb, and also because you have no fold equity when you push...

Implied odds and probability question

I have been playing loose ring games lately and made a few playing adjustments to compensate for the enourmous implied odds. The first is that I buy in with a full stack, the second is that I will...

Re: Something im completely unsure of

I agree that the pot odds are good here, but you have little implied odds and your stack is big enough to insulate you against a bed run of cards and bieng blinded for many many hands. Also if you...

Re: Atlantic City loose ring game strategy.

Thanks for the tips! I think your right w/ players that loose implied odds are huge. I think Ill play more pp's and suited connectors. Also since you do need to riase 7x bb and since your looking for...

Re: KK facing overbet on the turn

I would do something like this:

Set = 35% cance of holdng * 10 % chance of winning = .035
+
Flush Draw = 20% * 75% = .15
+
AA = 15% * 10% = .015
+
QQ, JJ, TT, = 15% * 90% = .135
+

Question for the pro\'s about max ROI

Just curious what kind of ROI you players who play the >$100+ can get on the 5's and 10's. What are the higest ROI's you've seen or gotten yourself (w/ a large enough sample set)? How much higher are...

Re: Early play in STT\'s

I completely agree that turbos are very different from normal STT's. Should the rapidly increasing blinds induce you to play more pots because you will soon be short staced or should you want to save...

Re: PP25NL, Laying Down a Set

I agree with raising but I'd probly raise a small amount maby 5$ this should be enough to turn him off a bluff, and he will probly re-raise all in if he has the flush. If he does re-raise all in now...

Early play in STT\'s

Early in STT's (rounds 1 and 2) I beleive it is correct to play very tight PF, (as the TOP would indicate). I have seen several players have sucess doing the opposite. They limp into a bunch of...

Poker Stars PF all-ins %
