Re: i actually did snap this time (posting for you swede...long)

Not necessarily. Windows installed in cars are quite a bit tougher than e.g. standard house windows.

Re: $100 NL 6max QQ versus LAG w/ 200+BB stacks

Given your read on the villain if you are not going to push preflop then you have to call on this flop. He'll have AK, JJ and various other hands you beat well more than often enough to make this...

Re: Pokerstars Bonus Question: FPP

Might not be helpful to you, but FWIW I cleared it pretty quickly playing 0.5/1 NL 6-Max.

Edit: Added 6-Max.

Re: Flopped set on monotone board...big action

I didn't notice when I first wrote my post that the button was a short stack and had raised all-in. Therefore, disregard the part where I talk about possibly being called by 3 opponents as a...

Re: Flopped set on monotone board...big action

This is an easy push given all the money in the pot compared to the stack sizes. You're only in really bad shape if someone has JJ. Otherwise, if one of them has a flush your equity is still at...

Re: UB rakeback close/open existing acct

I did. If I remember correctly all I did was email them requesting that my account be closed then a week or so later opened a new account under a rakeback provider.

Re: To those thinking about getting an Inspiron 9300 for multitabling

Including taxes, S&H I paid about $2000 for mine but now realize that I didn't try hard enough to find a good deal. I recommend looking around on Ebay and, as I previously mentioned, double-checking...

Re: To those thinking about getting an Inspiron 9300 for multitabling

Yes. For 4-tabling without overlap you should be aiming for 1600x1200 or higher resolution. 1920x1200 will allow for no-overlap 4-tabling with a little bit of extra room left over.

I sucked out!

I looked at the Dell website and their return policy to see if there was anything like a general 30-day money back guarantee as jman220 had mentioned, but did't find anything. Perhaps that used to...

Re: To those thinking about getting an Inspiron 9300 for multitabling

Ok, thanks, I'll call them up and ask them about that but I'm not very optimistic based on my experience with their reps so far on this issue.

To those thinking about getting an Inspiron 9300 for multitabling ...

Be careful that you don't accidentally purchase one with only 1440x900 resolution. I did that and Dell told me that if I want the 1920x1200 resolution I will have to return the one I bought, pay a...

Re: Pokerworld and gamesgrid

Poker World has pretty nice software - it is pretty snappy and responsive. It is a pretty small site but there are oftentimes one or two 2-4 and 5-10 limit games that are usually pretty wild.

Re: Biggest animal you\'d fight for money

Even if he were a Tae-Bo master the sheer physical strength of a mere chimp along with their generally superior agility would mean 1 mistake and he's a goner.

Re: Biggest animal you\'d fight for money

An unarmed man in direct combat against a gorilla would have at most a 0% chance. He would be no match for an adult chimp as well. I think he would probably also be in bad shape against a baboon.

Re: ideal time for a blocking bet?

Does "very agro" for the villain mean that he tends to fast-play his draws in position? If not, I think checking to induce a bluff from a busted flush or straight draw is better than betting.
