Re: 25NL flopped the nut straight, stabbing self in the eye by the river.

Well played. You should have raised the pot on the flop, but your reraise to $10 was good. Fold to the river bet.

Re: (.25/.5) Extracting after AK turns the nuts

I'd make it $6 to go preflop.

Anyway, the way you played it, you gotta bet the turn. Your hand is susceptible to redraws. Don't let them draw out on you for free. Someone could easily have 2...

Re: NL 200, what do you think of this line?

meh, i don't really understand why you are calling the flop.
calling seems like the worst thing you can do. either raise or fold the flop.

if you did decide to call the flop (ugh), the...

Re: Flush draw and Pair on the Flop...Villian Pushes

The pot will be over $100 and the villian will have $50 left. Anyone that calls is pot committed. Most if not all, people will either fold or push here.

Re: NL200 66

your line seems ok to me.
most of the time, however, i'll give up if my reraise doesn't take the pot on the flop and i have an underpair. if you do decide to bet the turn, bet stronger.

Re: Bankroll Requirement for Party 1000 NL 6-max
