Re: Poorly played KK? (PS $109r)

Preflop bet is standard, but with a coordinated board with two in the zone, Im making a pot size bet on the flop. Your bet is only half the pot. With a more ragged board and position, the 650 bet...

Re: Final table - 7 handed - Blinds very high

9's or better, AK, AQ. You're probably going to lose about 1 player per orbit or 2 with blinds this high. With a bigger stack no need to get crazy...yet.

Re: Play from my demise at the $215 Pstars tourney last night

You only have 6 BB's left. You are playing all in poker here, the 3 bet with that hand is very weak. You need to be pushing here only with any ace, pair, and maybe and two 10 or higher. I agree with...

Re: AJs preflop. cap or call?

Just curious Barron, In a laggy game like this, despite the poor position, would you (or anyone) lean towards the preflop cap with hands that play well multiway (J10s, QJs, KJs)? Or are you only in...

Re: 1500$ Daily, 2 key hands

Hand 1

Assuming that 4000 is an average or slightly above average stack, I will often lay this down being that close to the bubble. The best case scenario is they are both holding a big ace,...

Re: Final Table/Results

Well, I lost this hand, and as they say hind sight is 20/20

Anyways, I didn't take enough time to think about this hand before I acted. I took this bet at the flop as a weak bet, and pushed them...

Re: Rebuy Hand

Was this the 109 Rebuy? Anyways..

I played a 300 pokerstars SNG with him the other night, he loves the hammer. I saw him do the all in hammer with 55 to a cutoff raise. Here is a limp then CO...

Re: Tourney Bankroll

The arbitraty 10% example that I gave is based on my play for both SNG's and MTT's. No one ever specified STT's or MTT's. And so yes, when I play online MTT's, I generally wont play with more than...

Re: Final Table - pokerstars 30 rebuy

Looks like there is some confusion with my post, sorry.

6 Handed, SB and BB post. 2 folds to the chip leader who opens for 3 bets, I make it 9 bets, 4 folds, leader calls.

I wouldve used the...

Re: Tourney Bankroll

I have no grounds for this other than my personal rule of thumb for online play is no more than 10% of the bankroll on a tourney.

Final Table of a 350 person $30 Rebuy. I am 2nd in chip count, and close to the leader. There are 6 people left, and the other 4 are on average or less than average stacks. The table is tight.

Re: chip leader in a $55 Party rebuy, confusing top pair hand

I would make a bet of about half the pot on the turn. Any check raise would require a fold. If you continue with the lead here, you can prob get a free showdown. With no reads here, you can assume he...

Re: ok, how do you play AK.. here\'s how NOT to play it.

Make a continuation bet of half the pot on the flop, if you get raised, lay it down, if you get called and dont get an A or K (non-spade), check and let go. You don't have any chance here.

Re: Stars technical question regarding allins not covering the pot

No, he is only eligible for the amount he puts into the pot, if there is only one caller, the caller gets the remainder uncontested.

Re: KK 1st hand.

Regardless of the limit, I always feel that the majority of players online are bad. I would've pushed harder preflop (like 1500). I think you should've called this one, I see too many bad players try...

Re: How much is it possible to make???

This will depend on how many tables you can play well at once. If you can make 1.9/100 with one table, you might be able to 3+/100 with 2, etc..

Re: 98 in BB, ugly hand, decisions on all streets

No, as I said in the original post, I didn't really like the play preflop or on the flop. What I was simply saying was that his original intention was to clear up the queen outs. His flop play didnt...
