Re: str8 flush draw flopped, min-raised back to you

Yes. But the his min-raise puzzles me if he held A/images/graemlins/diamond.gifT/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, wouldn't he just call or push all-in
here?

Thanks,

Re: str8 flush draw flopped, min-raised back to you

Not much folding equity due to his stack size, or implied odds for that matter...

Re: str8 flush draw flopped, min-raised back to you

Yes, that was my thinking too. Only slight problem is that there's not much folding equity, with him being on relatively shorter stack.

Anyway, I push, he calls and he wins it with two pair, 65....

str8 flush draw flopped, min-raised back to you

Online 2/5, just sat down a spin ago, villain an unknown, assuming typical.

Five limpers to Hero (with buy-in of $500) in LP who smooth calls with 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif4...

Think there's any hope of getting him to lay down a better flush if I push all in here? Probably not.

Re: misclicked and bet $245 with AQs; call limp-reraise allin?

Was this at Pokerroom? If so, I reraised you all-in UTG with KK; guess I need to shed the supertight image.

Re: Head up tactics

How many hands have you played HU at those limits? HU at 10-25 is a tricky beast where, as you know, the first substantial bet often takes it down. Did you call his raises, or reraise? If you...

Re: Do you make this play?

Thanks for the useful responses. I guess then the whole point of their conversation was that if the bettor holds a weak ace, and the all-in raiser thinks that, it can be a good bluff. The gutshot...

Do you make this play?

Watching UB 25-50 last night, two players ("Glen Quagmire" and "XX RAGED XX") got in a heated discussion about the following play:

Do you never/sometimes/always push with a gutshot HU when you put...

online PLO games?

Any recommendations for sites beyond Party with juicy pot-limit omaha games, low (50 buyin) to mid (100-200 buyin) stakes?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Creating a loose image early on

My move is to play in your game and call with anything when you first sit down, and then take the flop from there. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Re: how would you play this?

Thanks Burno,
That was basically my thinking too -- any tack I take it'd be a difficult laydown. If I'd bet the flop, and LAG reraised, he could be on a number of hands, including a made flush,...

My intuition is that with a draw out of position one...

Re: Playing NL at the Palms and this happens...

I would fold. You've only put $15 in the pot and
your kicker's no good. I suspect he has a made hand,
TPTK, TPGK, a set or 2 pair (if he's as loose as you
say). He might be drawing at the nut...

Re: could I get away from TPTK here?

In my limited PL/NL experience, a call, let alone a raise
of your TPTK pot-sized bet spells trouble.
Being out of position doesn't help.
I either call the raise, then check fold if I don't...

Re: Blind steal turns into check-raise bluff....

Isn't blind stealing idiotic at all levels, unless the
blinds/antes are large relative to stack sizes (such as
in a tourney)? Even at $25-$50, why bother given the
typical pot sizes and stacks?...
