Re: AJo in the BB

I'd probably fold this preflop but I don't think it's a disgrace to call. I can't see why you'd want to put in any chips post flop. Two people are interested in their hands. Yes they are LAGS so your...

Re: I\'ve been doing this a lot lately FPS 5/10

I've been doing it loads recently, too much considering the opposition. But once the technique's refined it makes you dangerous.

This is where it all is. Tight players at lower limits will win all...

Re: Party 600 - 6 max. Default play.....

Some good comments so far. I can usually figure out a decent line on reflection of a hand but this time I'm not decided.

To clarify/discuss:
1. From what I've seen so far, the button raise here...

Turn decision, Party 600 - 6max.....

Hero dealt AA on button. Covers villain in BB at 510.

Utg limps, folded to hero who raises to 4xBB. BB calls, limper calls.

3 to flop. 8s Kh 7s (75)

Checked to hero who leads for 50. BB...

Party 600 - 6 max. Default play.....

Standard table, neither strong nor weak seemingly.
Villain (button) has 500, hero covers.

Call, I call (5h 7h), call, button triples blinds, SB folds, BB calls, limpers call.
5 to the flop (93)....

Re: UB 5-10 slowplayed flopped nuts river play

You say he's decent so I guess if he's going to pay you off anyway he'd have led out himself, unless inducing a bluff. As such, I wouldn't have him on a full. So you win.

Unless you could put him...

Can someone explain/confirm this please.

I checked the odds and was surprised that I was only a very slight favourite.
I was more...

Re: Thoughts on big 10/20 NL hand?

Trust your read, call for callers. Don't worry about the psycho. This situation is brilliant.

I take it you lost your stack.

Re: Bottom set..... comments please....

The results don't really matter in this situation because what I'm asking here is for help with the thought process when faced with the raise. (Comment on the flop lead/bet size would also be good)....

Bottom set..... comments please....

Party 400. 6handed. Suits irrelevant.

Hero is SB with 77 and has CO+1 (560) and button (416) covered.

1 fold, CO+1 makes it 16, CO calls, button calls, hero calls, BB folds.

4 to the flop...
