OOOOOOOOO........I didn't even notice it was suited. Ya, can't lay that down. Now I understand the min raise pre-flop. ...

Re: $2/$5 NL ($300 max) hand at Turning Stone vs. 2+2er

I think it may be partly because I like to get it heads up if I can, or 3 handed to the flop. All the strong players at the table were to my right, so I wasn't really worried about going into pots...

Re: $2/$5 NL ($300 max) hand at Turning Stone vs. 2+2er

Snow, I'm not trying to nitpick here, but why, o why, were you opening the first 2 hands for $13 to begin with? Even if you were raising with implied stuff, why not try to make it look like a real...

Re: $2/$5 NL ($300 max) hand at Turning Stone vs. 2+2er

I was villain in this hand, just wondering what some of you thought of my play in this hand.

I thought it was very good. Like I mentioned to you on our way to eat, the relatively cheap flop bet...

Turn was a 4d, river was a 10. Prevaricator mucked, and huge fish turned over 6-8, no diamonds, for the straight.

He is the man.

Re: $2/$5 NL (T Stone) Hand vs. Prevaricator and huge fish

I would've shoved preflop after prevaricator called

That actually would have been a great idea, and it didn't even cross my mind. I considered raising prevaricator originally before the fishy...

Re: $2/$5 NL (T Stone) Hand vs. Prevaricator and huge fish

Fold preflop.

5x the bb in live play is not really that much.

Re: 2+2ers at the Borgata 1st week in January?

I want to do most of my poker playing at the borgata however, and I plan to play a lot over those couple of days, probably the 300nl game.

Ya, I'll probably be playing only the Borgata while I'm...

2+2ers at the Borgata 1st week in January?

Any 2+2ers going to be at the Borgata the first week of January. I may head down to NJ tomorrow, and will probably play the Borgata each day I'm down for. Will probably be there for 3-5 days. ...

Re: Turning Stone Limits

Their NL selection is crappy. They will have 741 tables of $100max 1/2 NL running, and if you are lucky 1 game of $2/$5NL. Fridays they have a $5/$10NL $300 min buyin game. I was there last...

$2/$5 NL (T Stone) Hand vs. Prevaricator and huge fish

I get AQs in the sb. Huge fish limps, Prevaricator is in late position and makes it $25, I call, and huge fish min-re-raises to $50.(I think I have $200ish to start the hand, Prevaricator has a...

Re: $2/$5 NL ($300 max) hand at Turning Stone vs. 2+2er

I agree, $13 wasn't the standard, it just happened to be what I did the 3 hands before, so I figured someone may play back at me. I think there were several players at the table with $100-$200...

Re: $2/$5 NL ($300 max) hand at Turning Stone vs. 2+2er

Would be nice to have a read stronger than "2+2er". If this is BobboFitos, you should re-raise preflop.

I didn't want to put 2+2ers name on since I'll post results, in case he wouldn't want me...

$2/$5 NL ($300 max) hand at Turning Stone vs. 2+2er

I have AKs in early position. I have raised the previous 3 hands to $13 pre-flop. Table was pretty tight, so people were folding around a lot. I expected someone to raise me one of these times,...

Re: Why is PartyPoker the biggest online poker site?

They will probably make a good future MBA case study of how to destroy your lucky #1 position and fade away.
