Re: Bodog Payouts - Scammin?
That must have been my problem... I deposited through my bank card not NT. This really pisses me off... I'm sure that Bodog has good employees... but all it takes is one bad apple to completely f***...

Bodog Payouts - Scammin?
Okay so I signed up with Bodog for their 20% bonus deal. Good deal, but oh wait! Now they want me to send the following in order to cash out to my Neteller account. Have you guys been asked to do...

Help needed with this hand - JJ vs 85s
I really need you to know... did I play this right. Would you have folded? Things like this keep happening lately. I've never run this bad. I usually play lower limits 1/2 and I've blown over $500 in...

Re: sabermetrics
Dear Greek,
Do you know much about sabermetrics? I don't say that to be rude, but you'll have to figure in some things... the park, the defense of each team, and the bullpen/late inning effect...

Re: newbie to poker tracker
Thanks a ton RMc. I really appreciate your advise. Next time I promise to search before I post. It helps with server space and prevents the spread of HIV. Well, one of those anyway.
Cheers

Re: sabermetrics
Well... I won the bet. Santana was good enough and Johnson was very hittable. The Twins got lots of help from the Tigers defense... but SABR types know they are a weak team defensively (outside of...

Re: sabermetrics
I shouldn't have stated it this way... basically I believe if you held this game today 150 times that the Twins would win 100 of those games... and that they would do that because in 70-80% of those...

Re: sabermetrics
To sum up my thoughts on Sabermetrics... I think it is much more useful to predict the next few months, or how a team will do over a season... much less effective for a single game.

Re: sabermetrics
To Mr Baseball,
It's about variance. I don't think Johnson is that good. He's bound to regress to his mean, which is much worse than 1.93 and much worse than Santana's 3.82. That's why my bet...

Re: sabermetrics
I am almost sure that at some point this year the odds will be better than 25-1, and I'm pretty sure at some point in the beginning of the season, the odds were around 50-1. Next year I'm going to...

Re: sabermetrics
Maybe you're right about the sucker bet regarding Santana. But I don't think so. A certain portion of ERA, and a larger portion of Wins, is about variance and luck. Look at WHIP, career numbers,...

Re: sabermetrics
The A's are a young team and I don't think that translates particularily well to the post season. Harden, Haren and Zito can be great, but you still gotta push 2-4 runs across against the other...

Re: sabermetrics
Well after the A's dealt Hudson and Mulder they were going off at like 12-1 odds. If I had any money, I would have laid some on them.
I know sabermetrics nearly inside and out. It can be of...

Can't you just have Neteller send you several checks and cash it at a check clearing place instead. They don't report to the IRS do they?

I have a wife and she enjoys it when we watch TV together. The thing is, I'd much rather be playing poker than watching 'Sex in the City'...
