Re: What is the standard play with 99 in small blind?

So how do you play the flop after you reraise?

Let's assume opponent just calls.

Do you continuation bet on any flop?

What about a flop with 3 over cards? Monotone not of your suits?

Do...

I can call and hope the BB comes along. That's 4.5 into a $18 pot. It's not 7.5 to 1 to flop a set...

I have won twice. Once for $50 and another for $10. Neither one has hit my account. The $50 was won on 12/26 and the $10 was last night. On 12/27 I sent an email and they said they would...

Re: Don\'t Call, Reraise! Do you agree with this article?

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately your original post did not generate any useful feedback.

Does anyone else want to contribute?

If you reraise preflop and it's checked to you on the flop, do...

Re: Help, I\'m getting raped online (long)

Here is a great example of why the number of posts someone has, is not a good indicator of how good a player they are.

Playing with a very limited bankroll and playing above his limits. Very very...

Re: Why would anyone raise 2x the blind?

[ QUOTE ]
Many people do that w/AK; miniraise a pot with a few limpers.

[/ QUOTE ]

Funny you should say that. This opponent did it 5 or 6 times, but the only time his hand was shown down,...

Re: Axo and the fish

Many fish will call a small bet on the flop with any remote possibility of having a hand. Middle pair, bottom pair, 3 to a flush or straight. You need to keep betting if you have one or two...

Why would anyone raise 2x the blind?

55 sit n go at Party. Level 1

2 limpers and the button doubles the blind. I know it's a dumb move but I am at a loss for what the fish is thinking when he does this?

What kind of hands are...

Re: Axo and the fish

[ QUOTE ]
If you're playing fish, an Ace on the board is a cue to check/fold (exception being you maybe bet on the flop to see if they hang around).

This is bad advice. Do you...

Re: SSH and Utility: The Case for the Terrible 20

You should also remember that just playing tight preflop does not necessarily win you the money. It also requires making good decisions after the flop. In fact since the bets double on the turn and...

Re: Limit O8 - Folding too much? Example #2

The turn bet by the sb is worrisome, however I think the raise might be a better option than folding.

I think you would be able to drive out some of the nut low draws. If you do and the sb has...

Re: If you had 30 seconds with Phil Gordon, what would you ask him?

Well he has made a final table in the Main Event of the WSOP and he's won a WPT title. I'd say his credentials are better than 99% of the members of this forum.
