I think a truely great player could probably make 3bb/100.

lol 3bb/100 at 2/4 doesn't even make you a "good" player, let alone a "great" one.

Seems like BoDog had one to the WPT last year. Might want to try there.

Re: Can I cold call two bets on the turn??

CO loose, but not a maniac I suppose. A bet and raise in front of you on the turn would seem to suggest you are drawing very thin...nice fold.

Haha....

Great book. I was hoping for maybe an overview, or overall score system at the end...small complaints though.

Avg Score/How Good Is Your Limit Hole\'em

Kind of a senseless post, but I'm curious. I finished up "How Good Is Your Limit Hold'em" recently and my avg score for the 24 hands was 82.

To others who have read the book, how did you do?

My problem with the blackjack present on the Poker site is that is weakens legal lobbying efforts here in the USA.

Many have been saying that poker is different from casino gambling. ...

Non-Aggressive

I've read "sometimes you have to show'em your passive side".

SB is a passive calling station. EP has 2+2 numbers, but does open limp.

.50/100 full.
EP limps, couple of folds, I raise in LP...

If you're going to raise the flop, I think you need to go ahead bet the turn when checked to. If you get c/r...well we'd need some reads.

Re: Counting outs at the remedial level.

No apologies needed. You counted all the outs that would IMPROVE your hand. But you need to think about the outs that will improve your hand to a WINNING hand.

Keep up the study and posting.

Re: Counting outs at the remedial level.

[ QUOTE ]

I'm thinking I can hit an ace, a four, or a 3 and take this pot. I know I'm getting 6 to 1 pot odds, and if I've counted my outs correctly I've got 10 outs, or a little less than 4 to 1...

Re: Flop top pair vs. 2 to flush

I don't mind the pre-flop limp, but you might want to consider a raise.

You have to raise the flop. You've got a big hand, and a chance to pump the flop. Raise for value.

Raising the flop...

Well I'm trying to think of a worse hand that could call you. I guess smaller pp's. I doubt A hi would call down. Yeah, I think you could bet the river and call down a raise depending where it...

Re: What do I do on River?

On 1st read through I really wanted to raise the flop, but I think the call is best as the turn could really kill our hand.

I would fold that river.
