Re: Help me not get stacked with TPTK ($600)

I definately make the preflop call, folding is just silly. You hit a good flop, but you can't put your whole stack on the line for a $57 pot. Depending on your opponents (do they always...

Re: Hyper-aggressive HU player in 5-10 NL, 5-max

I disagree, I would wait for a better spot to bluff-raise (i.e. good draw + position). You're going to have plenty of opportunities.

Re: Party 5/10...Kings in BB

He's got a pair in the hole, either set or 88-1010. Would he call your raise with a little pair heads up in position? What does he think of you?

I'd put him on a weaker overpair and call.

Re: 89s defending against blind steal

Line looks strong, he might read a set, but you dont have enough to push him off an overpair.. you got stacked I assume?

Re: Max extraction?

I'd bet more on the flop, of course then you prolly get raised and get your chips trailing the nuts.

Re: 5-5NL live: AA in the SB

Flop lead is too small, UTG probably calling with a flush draw. The reraise could be a draw or worse PP. Do you think a 10 is likely here? I would lead $200 instead of $125, given where you are, I...

Re: Top Set in Unraised Pot

ez push (duh). Also, i would have raised the flop if he's capable of bluffing with a draw.

Re: First shot at NL1000, AA minraised on turn

50/20 is going to raise KK, AK, I think you can rule them out. Smells like bottom set

Where to play 10/20 NL in Vegas

Wynn? Bellagio? Elsewhere?

I am going out in a couple weeks. I loved Bellagio when I played limit, then moved to 2/5NL last year and hated Bellagio for the 200 fixed buy in. This year I've...

Re: Folding Equity in 5-5 Live Game

This is a bad spot to c/r. It stinks of a bluff.

Re: A couple 2/5 Seneca Niagara hands....

Hand 1: make your standard continuation bet
Hand 2: They just did you a huge favor. Bet and hope they think they influenced you to do so.

As long as its not a tourney, I can't see any valid objections. If you were "colluding" wouldn't you just chop the money later anyway?

Re: Observed $5/$10 hand

Not knowing villians tendencies, I put villian on a set with that small a bet. KK would either bet bigger or just give up. It's still too small a bet, as you now have odds to chase a flush. I...

Re: 2-4 NL Party Lay down this AA?

with all the draws on the board, he didn't flop a made hand. My guess would be Q10, would he limp with that hand UTG and call a raise?

If you think SB or anyone else will overcall, you've got odds.

Re: The turn

In OP you say you fold flop?

Bet sizes hint at a strong hand here, plus your read suggests he's not bluffing, I would call flop, fold turn.

The weak prudent guy beats me on this one.

Re: 5/10 confusion with 75s

I put him on busted K high club draw with that line, maybe KQc? I think a big A bets more on the flop that $15 into a $175 pot (5*35) to protect against draws.

Only other possibility is AA, you...
