Re: HU hand

[ QUOTE ]
Well if a Q hits on the turn, this is an easy call.

[/ QUOTE ]

You're right. It's late. But you didn't answer the question.

[ QUOTE ]
If I push the flop, is he calling me?

Re: HU with Unarmed, a hand to discuss

[ QUOTE ]
The flop call is automatic

[/ QUOTE ]

Is it? I'm reraising this flop at least some of the time.

Re: HU hand

I'm with Suited and woulda pushed PF.

That said, assuming I didn't push PF, I agree with you. I'm putting villian on a missed broadway hand. I think that you're probably ahead and would call the...

Re: In sight of HU S&G Help

To make it even simpler, if you're starting with even stacks but winning less than 40% of the time HU, once the short stack gets below 10 BBs, push with any two cards that add up to two or higher. ...

Re: Heads up SNG Standard Deviation

NoahSD gave the answer (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=0&Number=3928018) a while back.

Noah, thanks for the work. BTW, how's your HU winrate going?

Re: FT $22: HU Even Stacks with 77, Induced a Raise, Now What?

I push. Short stack is >20 BBs, so there's room to play some poker here. That said, it doesn't make sense to call and even think about folding to villian's possible continuation bet. Push and put...

Re: Got owned yesterday heads up

The short stack, unfortunately you, is 13 BBs. That's well within the range for an optimal push/call strategy. Thanks to dana33, eastbay and others, it appears that a 70/50 push/call strategy is...

Re: HU- What stack to blind ratio, do you beging a push/fold strategy?

It's not the ratio of the BB to your stack, it's the ratio to the short stack. I generally start push/fold by 10xBB.

Re: HU on the end with A6

[ QUOTE ]
If villain had pushed after your flop raise, would you have called? It would've been 1687 to call in a pot of 6087.

That's why I woulda pushed over villian's flop bet. ...

Re: 22 heads up and 10xbb stack

At 10xBB, I push PF. Even if I hadn't, I'd open push the flop, maybe except if I flopped a set with a non-scary board and might try your line.

We're doing the same thing. I can't remember the last time I played a STT. I've been playing only HU and 4-way freeze-outs on Stars for a few months now.

Re: 10.50 HU SnG- Raising to Get a Free Card with Bottom Pair

I rarely min-reraise, but like your line as an alternative to mix it up. I woulda bet more on the river. This line works only if you get good implied odds -- take advantage of it.

Re: $5 - Push this AQo HU?

I push.

Even if villian calls with only ATs+, AJo+, KQs, JJ+, you're at 45%. I expect that villian's calling range is broader, so your equity will be higher.
