Re: Running it twice...

When you flop the nuts, but there are draws all over the place. It would help you if your hand is a favorite, obviously, to run it more times.

Looking for Tells Live

When I play in a live game, I like to watch my opponent's reaction to the cards as they get flipped. Another way some people get tells occurs when you are faced with a big bet or raise and are...

Re: Bluffing the other draw when mine doesn\'t hit

It seems I may be the only one, but I actually like the play. I might like it even more if you had position, he bets the river and then you raise big. You do need a pretty good read on your...

Re: Got min raised and I have the best hand

Hand 1: I agree with the others, this is a flush draw often enough that you have to put more $$ in now with the nuts. Make it $75 total. If he calls, you can push the turn.

Hand 2: Easy push.

Can anyone do a HU Tourney Preview?

I have read many HSNL posts and railbirded on some of the bigger games, but I don't really know how good everyone is or what style each of the 32 players play. I, like many other mere mortal...

Re: 200 - No action, river overbet

I did fold, since I had no read otherwise. I just wondered if anyone thought that was too weak or if that was the right play.

200 - No action, river overbet

200 Max 1/2 NL, 5 handed. Villain is well, I have seen better players before, but he isn't a total donk. He hasnt done much out of line play, however, prior to this move. He is the newest to the...

Re: Idiot thinks he\'s in WSOP, what does it mean?

Sounds like an act from him. Playing like he's worried and weak and then going all-in is usually a monster hand. I mean, if he was so weak, why would he go all in? It's the old weak means strong.

Re: How to counter a continuation bet?

You could call and then lead out for ~$50 on a non A,K turn. Or you could raise right now. Or you could check-raise the turn.

Re: TPQK in position hu

Does anyone else look at villain's line as a possible set or A9? He calls the flop, wants to check raise the turn, but hero checks behind. So villain leads with a small value bet on the river. For...

Re: $200 NL 6max flush draw and overs

Villain's 3-bet probably means quite a bit of strength. If we assign him any pair, a straight or 2 over diamonds, hero is at best a coinflip against that range. I don't think a push is the best...
