Re: F this guy, wtf was he doing?

Dmn you are right I missed the 5 of clubs.
I am saying; since we know that our hero has a set the "crazy fellow" has 10 outs. But if the "crazy fellow" puts hero on top pair or two pairs, he would...

Re: F this guy, wtf was he doing?

He has 12 outs on the flop (seen from he's perspective) since he can't know that you have at set. 9 clubs and 4 7's minus 7 of clubs. Even if he knew that he had only eleven outs (not counting Jack...

Re: CheatPoker

What if your opponent makes sure that you commit most of your stack pre-flop? As you mention player2 (who knows the flop) will be unable to bluff or represent anything after the flop so he will force...

Re: CheatPoker

On the other hand player is in a very good position to bluff pre-flop. Imagine this example:

Let’s say that each player has 50 big blinds.

Player1 is in the BB with AA. Player2 makes a huge...

Re: CheatPoker

I am not sure about that. Since non pairs only hits the flop 1 out of 3 times it must be a huge advantage to know the flop pre-flop. On top of that you will get much better value of your speculative...

CheatPoker

Imagine that an online poker site invented a new heads up variant called CheatPoker. CheatPoker is similar to normal NL hold ‘em poker except for the fact that one player is able to see the other...

Re: Why is it possible to get runner runner cards to win?

Sometimes they just read the board or opponant badly. Middle set againts top pair with no draws needs runner runner to win, however you will experience these situations often and not think much about...

Re: Bad beat doctors

Yes you are right about BBD. I have had a lot of visits lately and I have suspected their presence - nothing else can explain the bad beats I have suffered lately (not even classic probability theory...

Re: stupid question but I gotta ask

[ QUOTE ]
To add to the confusion, the Dealer is 1st to act before the flop, last to act after the flop.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why is this confusing? Small blind alway act before big blind and it is...

Re: Ruling on suited pairs

In my opinion you would have to give everybody their money back. If anyone should loose money it is the guy with the two queens since he knew (as the only one in the game) from the start that he had...

Re: Would you play a stranger for a lot of money?

The people you play with can't be total strangers. You must have heard about the game from someone. So ask this someone what kind of players the others are. If you are walking in to strangers houses...

Re: 20 Dollar Shoot out on party

I agree with the other posters. If your set is up against a bigger set you are meant to loose your money. Think about it a player is dealt a pocket pair one hand out of 16. Your will flop a set about...

Re: All-in preflop with AK?

Very nice article. However I do not think that it is a correct assumption that players would raise to 3xBB from UTG with hands like 77-99 and AJo. But his point is quite interesting.

Maybe this...
