13k Checkup at .5/1

Hi after taking a break from poker I'm coming back to reevaluate myself and to become a better play. Here are my stats from .5/1 about 8 months ago.

Re: This is how good of a QB Vick is

Those stats look pretty awful. But this doesn't:

Vick NFL career record: 26-12-1 (third highest % among active QBs)

I'm an Eagles fan all the way but Vick is a winner, shady numbers or not.

Re: 20+2 AA hand

I'm honestly not sure if you should bet the turn. Somebody with more knowledge can help you with that. I believe if you do bet the turn you should probably overbet it.

The river I think you HAVE...

Final question

Thanks for the replies. The weak turn should have been an obvious mistake I can't believe I did that.

I folded mainly because I had less than 25% of my stack invested and it was very early. I...

Re: here is a hand I still have not figured out.

This is a fine fold unless you have a better read. Smells like 66/55 but he may just be trying to make a play on you with a flop he knows you missed. However I don't think it's worth investing your...

Re: AK - Two Pair on Turn - Extracting the most chips

[ QUOTE ]
I might just bet 125 again on the turn. This gives the appearance that the Ace scared you too.

Re: How bad would it be to fold every hand on levels 1-3 in a 10+1?

[ QUOTE ]
Phil Van Sexton was recommending raising to 100-125 PF for this very reason. You'll either pick up the blinds (an improvement over folding) or have a very good chance of winning a good...

Re: How bad would it be to fold every hand on levels 1-3 in a 10+1?

First I'm really not sure how much it would 'cost' you. Frequently I am dealt cold cards for most of levels 1-3 and I can usually do fine as long as at least am able to get a hand to double up with. ...

Re: SnG Struggles...

Whenever I go on a downswing (as I am now/a common theme among 2+2ers lately it seems) I try to play more during peak hours such as evenings and weekends. The games are much softer (at least at the...

Notekeepers at Party $55?

I just recently began fooling around with the Party $55s to great success. I was just wondering if there are enough notekeepers out there to worry about varying style of play, bet sizes, etc.

I...

Re: Overall a Winner, But the swings are too much

I think you just had a bad day. If it's any consolation I play the $11s and the $55s and I played for about the same time as you. I was negative ROI in the $11s and about 40% in the $55s. For some...

Re: Strange step 5 hand with Gigabet

I think alot of us on the flop would have the feeling that we were ahead, but to have the balls to not only call the preflop raise but to call the ALL-IN with 56o ... wow! Nice hand.

Re: Anyone still beating the Party $10+1?

I am currently beating the $10+1 and I think those unable to beat it are either novice players or better skilled players who don't make adjustments when they move down. It's very ABC 'best hand wins'...
