I agree that this is kind of dumb too.

Re: Math shows folding is correct.
At best you're a coin flip AQ vs (pocket Js or lower)
otherwise you're a dog (AQ vs AK, AQ vs QQ or higher).
Why take the chance? Also, being the BB means you have
to act first every round if...

He's betting into two people...

Re: Difficult AK river decision?
I would rather check the turn (and not the river) and
then call. The fact that he called a pot sized bet on
the flop signifies he has something. If he's also on a
flush draw and hits his flush...

Okay, good point.
If you think your opponent is capable of calling
pre flop with hands like Ace or Queen 3, then yeah he
probably won't fold to a 22 push on the flop. If
he has higher...

Re: Results
With only two players in the pot, I dunno if I would
say that pushing 22 all in on flop would be great play.
For one thing, anyone with a 3 may call, but trip 3s
against a flopped twos full boat...

This is easy. Reraise on the flop. I would never
call here. Especially since you describe villain as
being really tight.

Re: Takin a Shot at 25/50, KK play
OK. I've thought about it. The turn check is kind of
a way to limit the size of the pot. If you're behind
well you're likely going to lose a medium sized bet
since villain wants to be paid...

Re: Takin a Shot at 25/50, KK play
As to how you played, I'm not crazy about turn and
river play. Flop raise is okay by me.
He's stayed in the hand to at least the turn. So
he must have a hand. But you have a hand too. So ...

I dunno man... he could easily have had AK or maybe
even AQ judging from his pre flop call (he may not be
as tight as you seem to be assuming - maybe he's loose
or even a maniac)....

Re: How to play this JJ hand.
Reraise preflop. If he calls you may be in good shape. If he rereraises, I'd muck my hand. Or you can call the raise preflop and lead out with a pot sized bet.
Hehe.
