Re: Blind steal, turn decision
[ QUOTE ]
...is K5o a good enough hand to steal with? Based on the K alone? This is a fold for me.
[/ QUOTE ]
I was actually thinking the same thing.

Re: Blind steal, turn decision
Think the turn is an easy fold here as you're drawing pretty thin against anything but a Q-high bluff (which doesn't seem likely).

Re: Potawatomi in Milwaukee
Might be worth mentioning that the NL game is a 600 max now...Since the addition of the full-time NL game, the 10/20 has almost completely dried up (saw it start last Friday). 5/10 is usually a juicy...

VP$IP and PFR%
I am very new to Omaha8, and still find myself struggling to push a profit even at the 0.50/1.00 PP games. My question to you more experience people, with PTO now out, what sort of VP$IP and PFR...

Re: Multi-tabling Omaha limit
Yea they changed the days a month or so ago because the pot-limit was screwing up the amount of tables available for the godly 2/4 games. Anyways, the games were still dying around 5-6ish 2 weeks...

I have been playing the omaha game for the past few weeks (it's W/Th, not Tuesday). Pretty sure I sat with PokerDork this last Wednesday. The game is obviously pretty good, especially if I am on tilt...

Re: Milwaukee players.....? RE: \"The Pot\"
Like I said, the last week has been crazy. It felt weird if a pot wasn't 3-bet pre-flop, or if some guy wasn't trying to cap with bottom pair. Not that that's a bad thing, but I don't think Mr....

Re: Milwaukee players.....? RE: \"The Pot\"
I'm there 4-5 days a week, normally noonish till 8-10. Games during the day are loose/passive, at night they become loose/aggro. It's been super busy the last week or so, prolly cuz of the whole tax...

Re: Action at Potawatomi (in Milwaukee)
Games at all limits have been getting thin around 4pm during the week. If you come during the week you shouldn't wait more than an hour for either limit. 2/4 and 5/10 are both full kill, 10/20 and up...

Re: Action at Potawatomi (in Milwaukee)
Only Big Bet poker pota offers is the Tuesday Pot-Limit Hold'em game. It's a $200 min, no max buy-in. There's a common thought that a few individuals may use some signals, so play at your own risk.

I've been playing 3-5 days a week (usually early afternoon), but now with school starting my schedule is going to change a little. I'm going to try playing 2-7 M-T-Th, and 10-6 F. I'm 23, with long...

5/10 Games
Playing 2/4 at pota is a waste. Unless you truly can't risk a couple buy-ins for 5/10, I would highly recommend making the move up. The 5/10 games are extremely loose and passive. With basic...

Out of SB I think it's ok to play 22-77 if you want (same with AKo-ATo, which has a really small chance to hit the jackpot). Personally I fold them since its a wate of time.

Re: Potawatomi Regulars?
Games at 2/4 and 5/10 are extremely soft, although beating the rake/tip at 2/4 is more trouble than it's worth. 10/20 is pretty fluid, can be super tight for a couple hours and then turn loose as...
