Re: About the PFR and more...

[ QUOTE ]
Point taken.

I apologize OP: I remember how bad it sucked the first time I lost a pot that had big money in it to a beat. Your BR will grow to the point where it wont even make you...

Re: About the PFR and more...

My roll can definitely withstand this game, unfortunately I am a college student who hates workign a 9 to 5 like a slum for 8 to 10 bucks an hour. I feel like worm and I hate going to rounders and...

Re: About the PFR and more...

What I don't get not too give you a hard time fim is if this guy is so good how can he not put me on a set. If I supposedly play tight weak and only push the nuts, clearly I have a set. I raise...

Re: About the PFR and more...

I understand that perhaps this is a bit of a rant. This is my first time posting a hand so I am sorry to disappoint I suppose. The fact is that even if I had AKs and he put the 250 into the 700...

Re: 1/2 NL Hand

[ QUOTE ]
Dude. I 100% understand and sypathize. I, too, and relatively new to poker (I've been playing poker for about 8 months, NL for about 4) and I also have felt like complete crap after...

Re: 1/2 NL Hand

[ QUOTE ]
If you're gonna routinely get two callers with that size raise, that is great. Good raise. But with such a loose table, by the same principle, I think you have to bet the pot on the...

Re: Set of Aces Hand

I apologize I should have said that this happening makes me feel as if I never want to play again. Of course we all know I want to play again just like we all do.
My question goes out to all of...

Re: 1/2 NL Hand

I see your point Ryan for the perhaps what may be weak play on the flop. I don't really see a point in overbetting here. He is getting trash odds on his dollar because if he calls the 50 he is...

Set of Aces Hand

1/2 NL hand at a local card club, buy in is 100 minimum, 300 maximum. Table is on the looser side as preflop raises of 7-8x the big blind are not moving the limpers anywhere...it is something else to...

Re: 1/2 NL Hand

I do agree that raising 12.5x the big blind was hefty. But there were a few times I would have about 6 limpers in front of me and for example I'd be on the button with JJ or TT and raise to 20 and...

Re: personal challenge: 10k hands in a day (50NL 6max)

I am really interested in hearing about how this goes as in the B&Ms I typically play 10 to 16 hour sessions. I have played on my trips to the B&Ms the longest was a 28 hour session. I am not...

Re: Basic preflop question

[ QUOTE ]
Put me down for a raise preflop to narrow the field (hopefully to just 1 opponent) and then put down a 3/4 pot to pot-size bet on the flop whether there are overcards or not. Slow down...

Re: What am I doing?? AJ Party 6max

By no means am I criticizing how one would play this but why fold that preflop? For a lil over 3 percent of his stack he gets to see a flop that he could possibly hit top pair with a decent kicker...

Re: Party NL 50 - short, Laydown a flopped flush?

Unfortunately though as my ratio of the villian's hands that are losing to his holes versus the villian's hands that are beating his current hand is about in short 2 or 3 to 1, so his explicit odds...
