Re: Emotional competence

My confidence as a poker player depends on whether i truly feel I have a nice edge at the lever I play at or not.

If I play 20+2, my confidence is high, even on bad streaks over a few hundred...

Re: To those that play 10+ tables:

Yup, clearly noticable to me too.

Most of the time 10-tabling with the new timer is still easier than 13-tabling with the old one - but in the most busy periods I'm sometimes closer to timing out...

Re: Min Reraise an big tell at the $11s? (they\'re holding a monster?)

[ QUOTE ]
Min raises at the 11s and 22s don't tell you chit in the early levels.

[/ QUOTE ]

A miniraise in itself doesn't mean anything, but a preflop mini-REraise sure means something -...

Re: Min Reraise an big tell at the $11s? (they\'re holding a monster?)

You're right /images/graemlins/smile.gif

In the 11s and 22s sometimes the other guy might have A9 or QJ too, because he thinks those are pretty good hands /images/graemlins/wink.gif

But...

Re: How Much Do You Guys Make at the $55 SnG\'s?

I'm new in the 55s this month.

So far, after about 500 50+5s I have 6% ROI, but my sample size is way too small. I'm hoping to achieve 10% - because if I can't do that I don't belong in the 55s...

Re: $55: Interesting trend I\'ve noticed recently

I'm the guy who made a couple of those ridiculous calls /images/graemlins/wink.gif

I'm new in the 55s, and have made a couple of calls from pushers who I mistakenly was hoping were just...

Re: September goals/results and new goals for October

I just moved up to the 55s, and I want to determine my ROI as quickly as possible.

I'm planning on going "all-in" pokerwise this month, and my goal for October is to play 2000 50+5's.

I'll post...

Re: Where\'s the logic (SNG\'s)

Yup.

When I bet in a "dry sidepot" it's not because I'm bluffing - it's because I want to protect my hand (not give away free cards) because I think it's good enough to win against the small...

Re: Am I just rubbish or is it the 6s at Party?

I agree. I'd definitely fold that AT preflop in early position on level 3 with a stack like that.

I'm guessing you have some holes that needs to be fixed. There's no rush to move up. It certainly...

Re: First Post! But Pretty good?

I usually play 33s, but about two weeks ago I played a couple of hundred 11s when I was learning to 12-table, and I'm also teaching a couple of friends how to play the 11s, these days - so I'm a...

Re: Anyone that 8+Tables on 1 monitor..

- 1 in each corner = 4
- the rest in the middle, spread diagonally from top to bottom, left to right, overlapping each other = 8
- If I add another one (I sometimes 13-table), I put it wherever I...

Re: If I can easily 12-table on one monitor - can I 16-table on 4?

ty for all your comments.

[ QUOTE ]

Could you two briefly explain/elaborate on this?

[/ QUOTE ]

As of right now playing poker is so "easy" that I think a robot could make at least 10%...

Re: If I can easily 12-table on one monitor - can I 16-table on 4?

The reason I'm not moving up to the 55s is that they're a little more complicated (1000 instead of 800 chips), has higher competition and lasts longer.

I've played a few hundred 109s and think I...

If I can easily 12-table on one monitor - can I 16-table on 4?

Similarly to chisness, I 12-table the 33s and play tons of hours (I try to have 10-hour sessions daily, but take some days off every now and then)

My ROI should hopefully still be at least 15% ($5...

Re: Is there any reason I shouldn\'t call all-in with A2 heads-up?

I have about the same reasons that Skipbidder has for not posting here much.

I've been lurking on and off here for a pretty long time (18 months or so), but never felt I had many interesting...

Is there any reason I shouldn\'t call all-in with A2 heads-up?

In a 20+2 yesterday, heads-up:

I 13-tabled, so I have a limited amount of reads on my opponent, but I noticed that he told a third player that I was a solid player, and in my mind that usually...

Re: Spite-calls galore: HU play with a 2+2er

gg /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I've been lurking here on and off for about 18 months, but never got around to speak up...

While learning how to 12-table I've played a lot of 10+1s over the last...
