Afterthought

You really got to ask yourself, how could SB coldcall preflop with a hand that beats me on this flop? Against many TAGs this is a dead give away.

Re: slightly common situation (from a debate)

My default is to call and strive for one bet per street. I doubt that raising any street is +EV relative to my overall pot equity and the risk of being reraised. This strategy pretty much negates his...

Are you going to take the free card when the 8 /images/graemlins/club.gif turns?

Looks like pointless spewing to me. If you want this pot I strongly recommend you hit your hand. Otherwise it is...

Re: Hand...

This is a very difficult situation without any read. I object to the preflop call at a datamining site such as Party Poker. You have no business playing a supermarginal hand in the total dark versus...

Things really work differently up here. I don't understand how you can expect Villain to have (edit: and bet) 75 or worse 20% of the time by the river here.

Re: Overzelous?

Wow, you invested 5 BB in this hand, never had a draw better than a gutshot, and folded a pair of aces for one bet on the river.

So much money, so little accomplished.

Reasonable plan #1: Say...

Re: AQs... I think I played it OK

First three streets OK.

Betcall the river as you won't get many bets from worse hands but he won't take your ace on faith. 3-betting is bad as his raise is almost always ace, six, or bluff.

Bet...
