Re: kinda LC, but I must be a fish

[ QUOTE ]
You are looking at this all wrong: if DS is sitting in the 40, it must be a sweet game since that is well below where he regularly plays, no?

I was also implying that...

Re: kinda LC, but I must be a fish

DS most likely sat because of the Stud Hi-lo regular. If I had to guess, I would say that is probably one of his favorite games.

Re: omaha 5 cards

Actually in courchevel the first card of the flop is dealt before the rest of the flop, and then played the same as Omaha or Omaha-5.

The strategy for Omaha-5 is basically the same as Omaha with...

Re: Best reality show ever? (minimal poker content)

The average viewer does not want to see a bunch of people grind away for relatively small amounts of money over a long period of time. They want to see big all in coinflips and people competing for...

Re: Making the transition to 7Stud from Limit HE - Good books

While I haven't read the Ashley Adams book, this forum doesn't seem to think very highly of it. Personally I would recommend the Chip Reese section in SuperSystem I as a good place to start, and...

Re: Somewhere an angel just lost it\'s wings... Terrible? River Laydown

After this post and that session, I reviewed my hands and realized I was fearing being up against straights on the river way too often when another low card came.

I think this was mainly because...

Re: Matusow v. Phil Ivey HU right now on FTP

Mike's best game is definitely O8 (when he is focused that is), and while Phil Ivey is certainly not a "fish" in the game by any possible stretch of the word, it is one of his weaker games, so it's...

Re: Chinese Poker Hand

I find that playing 2-7 in the middle hand makes the game much more challenging and interesting, not that I don't love to play high only as well. There is also more skill if you play criss-cross...

Re: Mike Matusow on the radio show Sunday

Does he still consider Omaha 8/b to be his best game?

Has he started to focus more on No Limit Hold'em because the games are so donkified?

What would his favorite mix of games be if he was...

Re: What is the difference between pineapple and crazy pineapple?

Yeah personally I only like playing the high only version shorthanded, but the 8/b version plays well both full and short IMO.

Re: What is the difference between pineapple and crazy pineapple?
